Tessa POV

I ran around like a headless chicken, looking for my pair of heels that I had previously worn.
Joey lay on the bed with his hands behind his head, as he watched me with amusement.
"Why are you in such a hurry?" He gave me a questioning look. My face lit up when I found my silver high heels.
"I've got a date remember?" I replied shoving my foot into the heel. "Joey you even came with me to pick out a dress!"
"Oh right" he muttered whilst rolling his eyes in annoyance. "Why don't you just stay with me? I'm more FUN" he winked, trying to use his charm on me.
"Ahhh, its fine I'll pass" I winked causing Joey to groan. I walked to the bathroom where I began to style my hair. "What are you gonna do anyway?" I spoke from the bathroom.
Joey stood up and walked to lean against the bathroom's door frame.
"Probably see Abby" He shrugged casually. An emotion shot through me but I just ignored it.
"Abby? Doesn't she seem a bit..." I paused trying to think of the right word to describe her. "I don't know, crazy?"
Joey burst out laughing. I gave him a questioning look.
"Yes. But crazy girls are fun girls" He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
"Ew. Ew. Ew." I grimace. "I don't want to hear any more of your perverted statements."
"But I have so much more! I can't keep them all to myself" he whined.
I rolled my eyes. "You can tell Abby, I am sure she'll be more than happy to hear your dirty mind" my voice came out bitter when I said her name.
Joeys lips lifted up in amusement as he pushed himseld off the doorframe. "Jealous are we?"
I pushed past Joey. "No ways!" I scoffed. "But I am late for a date, so I'm gonna head out" I gave him a sickly sweet smile before exiting the room.

I saw Michael waiting patiently for me by the reception. He looked so cute with his button up shirt and dark jeans.
"Hey" I smiled when I finally reached him.
Michael's eyes lit up when they found mine.
"Tessa you look absolutely beautiful tonight." He breathed as he took in my appearance. Blood rushed to my cheeks and I couldn't help but look at my shoes.
Michael lifted my chin up with his two fingers, forcing me to look at him.
"Ready to go?" He asked softly. A smile made its way to my face and I gave him a slight nod.
"Of course, I was born ready remember?"

"Noo give me back my ice cream!" I giggled as Michael held the ice cream out of my reach. I was having such an amazing time with Michael. We always laughed and goofed around.
"I think not!" He grinned. I leaned and kissed his cheek causing him to lose focus, I then grabbed the ice cream and planted the ice cream on his nose. He gasped at how cold it was, I knew that was my signal to run.
"Tessa come back here!" He called as he began to chase after me. My giggles were uncontrollable causing me to come to a standstill. Suddenly arms snaked around my waist.
"No I'm sorry!" I giggled. I turned to face him, when I did he smeared ice cream all over my face.
"Michael!!" I giggled as I cringed at stickiness. After our laughter died down there was silence.
Michael moved the piece of strand that was in my face. His eyes flickered to my lips, making my breath hitch in my throat.
He leaned down and our lips met; it was sweet and gentle. Suddenly my phone rang. I pulled away. Darn it.
"Excuse me, can I quickly take this?" I blushed embarrassed.
"Sure" He lightly smiled.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Tessa!" Joey called out. I quickly walked away from Michael.
"Joey what do you want?!" I whisper yelled. Joeys breathing was all over the place, I began to feel like something was terribly wrong.
"Its an emergency! Come back! quickly!" His voice sounded stricken.
"Something is really wrong"
"Joe-"
He did something that sent me panicking even more.
He hung up.
