Chapter 19

This must be it.

"Please", I begged. "When will this be over?", I mumbled dreadfuly. Snap out of it Misty. This is for your sister. You have to go on. It had been weeks since our journey here began; still no signs of life to be found. I look back now at my map. We are in a plains biome. If the map is correct, Notch's Kingdom should start in a few miles. A feeling of relief washed over me along with a wave a confusion. "Why would Notch's be so far away from the spawn point?", I accidentally said outloud. "Probably for safety", Isa replied. "Yeah.... I just really want to see my sister...", I said sadly. "You will", Steve promised, "let's camp for the night. We should arrive by tomorrow." The group agreed and began to mine into a mountain.

The hissing of burning mobs outside gave the hint that it was morning. Quietly, I woke the group up and began to discuss plans for the day.

"North should be where Notch's kingdom is. East, and West will just take us to more biomes. If we go South, we're just backtracking", Isa explained to the group. "So it's settled. We head North. Let's move as quickly as possible to avoid conflict from mobs and get my sister." They nodded wearly. Anything could happen.

We gathered up our stuff, and dug out of the mountain. The turquoise grass was dotted yellow with raindrops; a dew hung in the air for it had recently rained. Putting our dirty hoods up, we set out.

No less than three hours later, we arrived. What we saw shocked me.
