Chapter 18

Bunnies?

I waited impatiently as the portal was being made. The portal was in the shape of a Nether one, but the actual teleportation was done with water. Isa turned to me, and handed me a full water bucket. "One for the honors?", she asked. I laughed, "sure thing!" I poured the water into the glowstone frame, and watched as the portal began to take shape. It brimmed to the top, and stopped, giving on a glassy blue effect.

I walked up to it, and looked back. "Is my group ready?", I asked. They nodded, and lined up. "One, two, three!", I shouted and jumped into the portal.

Our timing was horrible. The white sun was beginning to become a minty blue, and mobs were beginning to spawn. We ran over to the belly of a cliff and began to mine. The grayish blue stone took a bit long, but we succeeded in making out shelter. We all slumped to the floor, exhausted. Streak yawned, and Isa had already curled up in a ball, snoring. We all picked a corner, and slowly fell asleep.

We were awakened by a sneeze. A very loud one. "AHHHH CHOOOOOO!" We all sat upright, and just looked at Streak. She laughed and pointed to the wall. "Get up! We got to go!", she exclaimed. I let out I sigh and went to change my clothes.

The big white sun had just come up, and was shinning onto chunks of foggy light green grass. In the distance, there were teal mountains, silver trees with gold hanging off, and- a poof? I laughed and patted it's head. It looked up at me and twitched it's little pink nose. "What is this?", I ask EnderEnchanter. She was born here, so she should know. She went up to the poof and bopped it on the nose. It just looked up at her. He chuckled.

"This is called a rabbit, more specifically, they are small mammals in the family Leporidae of the order Lagomorpha, found in several parts of the world. There are eight different genera in the family classified as rabbits, including Oryctolagus cuniculus rabbit, cottontail rabbits genus Sylvilagus in 13 species, and the Amami rabbit Pentalagus furnessi, an endangered species. There are many other species of rabbit, and these, along with pikas and hares, make up the order Lagomorpha. The male is called a buck and the female is a doe; a young rabbit is a kitten or kit."

We just stared at her and began to laugh. She just looked at us blankly.

"What?", she asked. Steve and Isa smiled and shook their heads. We began to walk again. We had a long trip.
