3rd POV
Back at the loft, the Alpha Pack showed up and attacked the two Hales. Cora was being held down by Ennis and Derek had a metal pole lodged into his stomach because of Kali.
Deucalion sat in front of Derek as they heard Derek's phone vibrate from his pocket, letting them know someone's trying to call Derek.
"Sounds like someone is trying to get a hold of you, Derek. I wonder who it is" Kali taunted.
"Sorry about this, Derek. I asked Kali to be gentle, but-" Deucalion was cut off by Kali, "This is me being gentle." Kali twisted the pole making Derek groan in pain.
"Let-Let her go" Derek told them and Deucalion signaled to Ennis to let Cora go.
Cora quickly stood up and ran to help Derek, but Derek stopped her, "No."
"See? We're not unreasonable" Deucalion told them before they heard Derek's phone ping, "Kali, find out who keeps calling."
"N-No" Derek said painfully as he tried to stop Kali from grabbing his phone.
Kali looked at the screen and smirked. "Aw, it's from Leila" Kali announced as Derek let out a low growl.
"Please call me. I'm worried and I need to know you're okay" Kali read out loud, "Isn't she just the sweetest?"
"What do you want? You want to kill me?" Derek asked, trying to change the subject and get their attention off of Leila.
"You really think I'm that boring? Don't throw me in with sociopaths like your uncle. I'm a man with far more vision than simple murder" Deucalion said before taking his sunglasses off, "In fact, I'm here to show you just how much vision a blind man can have."
Leila's POV
After ten minutes of Scott trying to convince me to come back to class, we caught up with Isaac in the hall. He was still mad about the twins getting him into trouble.
"Don't let it bother you. It's just lunch time detention" I told him as I continued to check my phone for any messages from Derek.
"If all they want right now is to piss you off, then don't give in. They're just trying to get to you" Scott told him as we made it to Isaac's locker.
"It's not just me" Isaac said, looking at something behind us. We turned and saw Aiden standing next to Lydia by her locker.
"What about tonight?" I heard Aiden ask her.
"Nope. Studying" Lydia told him as she closed her locker.
"I could help you" Aiden offered.
"Do you have an IQ higher than 170?" Lydia asked him.
"Okay. You could help me" Aiden said, making her scoff, "Tonight then?"
Lydia smiled before patting his chest and walking away. Aiden saw Scott and I looking at him and he smirked. I glared at him with my purple eyes as he walked away.
"What?" Scott asked Isaac.
"Now they're getting to the both of you" Isaac told us before walking away. I checked my phone again for any texts from Derek but still nothing.
I sighed in frustration and Scott looked at me, "Still nothing from Derek?" he asked and I shook my head.
"After lunch, I'm gonna skip and go to the loft to see if he's okay" I told him as we headed to the cafeteria.
"Do you want me to come with you?" he asked.
I shook my head, "I think I'll be fine. Hopefully, it's nothing and if it's something, then I can take care of it."
