3rd POV
The three froze at the sight of him. "Scott" Allison called as they approached him, "Scott."
They stood in front of him and saw the sad and broken look on his face. When he looked up at them, you could see the pain in his eyes.
"There's no hope" he told them defeatedly.
"What do you mean, Scott?" Allison asked with tears in her eyes, "There's always hope."
"Not for me" he told her as he tried to hold back a sob, "Not for...Not for L-Leila."
Allison let out a few tears, seeing how bad Leila's death is hurting him.
"Leila wasn't your fault. You know Leila wasn't your fault and we all know she wouldn't want you blaming yourself for what happened to her" Allison told him.
"Every time I try to fight back, it just gets worse. People keep getting hurt. People keep getting killed" Scott told them as he kept getting flashbacks of Leila falling and seeing her unmoving body.
Stiles took a step forward, "Scott, listen to me, okay? This isn't you, all right? This is someone inside your head telling you to do this."
Scott looked up at him, "What if it isn't? What if it is just me? What if doing this is actually the best thing that I could do for everyone else?"
"It all started that night, the night I got bitten. You remember the way it was before that?" he asked Stiles, who had tears in his eyes.
"It was the three of us. You, me, and L-Leila" he told him as they both thought about Leila.
They thought about the times they would drive around in Stiles' Jeep. The times she would sit on the bench with them as they watched the Lacrosse team play.
"You and me, we were- we were- we were nothing. We weren't popular. We weren't good at lacrosse. We weren't important. We were no one. Maybe I should just be no one again. No one at all" Scott told him.
"Scott, just listen to me, okay? You're not no one. Okay? You're someone, you're... Scott, you're my best friend" Stiles told him, making Scott cry more.
"Okay? And I need you. Scott, you're my brother" Stiles told him with tears in his eyes.
"All right, so..." Stiles said before stepping into the gasoline, "So if you're gonna do this, then... I think you're gonna have to take me with you."
Stiles grabbed the flare from his hand as Scott continued to cry.
Once he got the flare, he threw it away from them. Scott looked at Stiles sadly, "I don't know how I'm gonna do this without her. I can't do this without her."
Stiles let a tear fall, "She believed in you, Scott. She always has, just like the rest of us. You just have to remember that she'll always be here with us."
Scott and Stiles hugged each other as they both cried for Leila. While they were hugging, the wind picked up and made the flare roll into the gasoline and start a fire.
"No!" Lydia screamed and pushed them out of the gasoline as a big flame erupted. Lydia turned and saw a figure in the fire. It was the Darach.
After that, they grabbed Isaac and Boyd and they all decided to sleep on the bus. When morning came, Coach got on the bus and saw them asleep.
"I don't want to know. I really don't want to know, but in case you missed the announcement, the meet's cancelled, so we're heading home" he told them before everyone got on the bus.
