The aftermath

I was in my hometown with jimmy after escaping a potentially bad situation. I'm gonna be hiding out from LA for a little bit until shut blows over. I was sitting at the dinner table working when Jimmy comes downstairs with his workout bag. "Hey baby." Jimmy said. "Hi babe." I said smiling. "How are you feeling?" He asked kissing my head. "Honestly I'm happy." I said. "I'm happy that we weren't put in danger." I said as he hugged me. "He's truly crazy. If the judge lets him out, it will be a disservice to you and Lori if he got out." Jimmy said. "I'm here now so it doesn't matter." I said. "You ready to go to shaylas?" He asked. "Yup let's get it." I said getting my stuff.

"I'll come by after Practice." Jimmy said. "Alright." I said hugging him as shayla and Tyler come out. "Hey guys." I said hugging them. "Hey sis." She said hugging me as Tyler held baby Kimmie. Jimmy hugs me as I smile. "I love u so much." I said tearing up. "Don't cry." He said drying my face. "Nothing will happen to you." He said as I smiled. Jimmy drove off as I dried my face. "Alright enough crying." I said walking inside with them. "How are you holding up sis?" Shayla asked. "I'm doing ok." I said sitting. "Honestly I'm glad that Jimmy and I got out of there with the quickness." I said. "It's a good thing you guys did." Shayla said. "You want us to leave you alone so you can work?" She asked. "Yeah I got a few things to do." I said. "I got the pool cleaned yesterday later if you wanna go swimming." She said. "I'd Love too." I said smiling.

Meanwhile across town
My 3 other high school friends were shopping at the grocery store when they run into a familiar face. That familiar face was my abusers sister Layla. I dated her brother for a few years and he's now in jail for life after almost killing me. "Hey guys." Layla said looking at my other friends. "What you want?" Lele asked annoyed. We all go back to high school. Layla would always terrorize my other friends she thought I was her friend but truth be told she wasn't I kept her ass at a distance. "I heard jay back in town." She said. "What you gonna do? Laugh in her face? Blame her for the fact yo bitch ass brother in jail?" Lakyeah said. "No i actually wanted to apologize to her." She said in a quiet tone. "Why you quiet now? You would be a bully ass bitch to us in school." Kiki said. "I know what jays going through." She said. "About what?" Kiki said. "I was abused like she was." She said as they looked at her. "Really?" Lakeyah said. "Yeah." She said tearing up. "I'm out of here." Kiki said leaving as the rest of the girls followed. "Now she want sympathy cause she been hurt?" Kiki said mad. "I don't get it. Bitches like her don't get the hint until it happens to them." Lakeyah said. "We gotta tell jay." Lele said.

I was at shaylas house working when the girls come in holding food. "Hi girls." I said hugging them. "Hey sis. Listen we gotta talk." Kiki said. "Which one of y'all knocked up by a player?" I asked laughing. "None of us." They all said together as Shayla comes out holding baby Kimmie. "What's going on?" I asked. "We saw someone at the store today." Kiki said. "Who?" I asked. "Layla." Lakeyah said as I rolled my eyes. "Wtf that inbred bitch want?" I asked. "She said she heard you was in town and she wants to talk to you." She said. "I have nothing to say to that whore." I said typing. "That ain't even it." Kiki said upset. I could tell that Kiki was triggered but the mere mention of her. Layla dogged all of us out in high school the the point Kiki almost committed suicide. "She said she's been though the same shit you did as far as being abused by a partner." She said as I looked at Kiki on the verge of tears. I hugged her tight cause I knew she wanted to beat her ass so bad. "Well for one for the sake of you guys I have no desire to talk to her. It's mighty interesting that she wants to speak to me. I know for a fact she's also stalking my IG and Snapchat." I said looking at the girls still holding Kiki. "She's not getting anything from me. I have nothing to stay to her because In her eyes I'm a clout chaser knowing I loved her brother. She didn't have shit when I met him and he didn't have shit after I left him and now he ain't got shit. His sister and his mother are both enablers y'all know that." I said as they agreed. Jimmy comes in with our pool stuff. "Guys there's someone out there." He said as I kissed him. "Who is it baby?" I asked. "Someone in a black Mercedes." Jimmy said as Shayla looked. "Y'all it's her." She said as I rolled my eyes. "Can she go jump in a lake?" Lakeyah said. "Nah YALL ima handle this." I said walking outside. It was at this moment I knew I had to come outside and talk to her. It would be so easy to fight this gutter piece of trash but I'm gonna tell her about herself I don't care. Like anyone will tell you.....
