Back at home

I was back at home after being in the bay for almost a month. Jimmy was gonna be here Friday so that gave me enough time to get ready. I get inside my apartment and the first thing I do is run my shower. After my shower, I order food. I was gonna grocery shop with Nikki tomorrow. Jimmy calls me as I smile. "Hey daddy," I said. "Hey, baby." He said as I smiled. "How was your flight?" He asked. "It was nice," I said getting my food. "I can't wait to see you Friday." He said as I smiled. "Guess who's trying to come to the game?" I asked. "Who?" He asked. "Lala" I said. "Why would she come? Is she trying to ruin you guy's a good time like in Chicago?" He asked as I ate. "I don't know. I haven't even had a conversation with her about all the stuff she's been saying about me." I said. "What has she been saying?" Jimmy asked drinking water. "She said I'm making a mistake being with you," I said as he laughed. "That's funny. We have been together almost 2 years treated you with respect wined and dined you took you on trips. If that's a mistake then you made a great one." He said as I smiled. "A wonderful one," I said as he laughed. "I don't like that she's talking about you. It's one thing with me and her but with you. Nah all bets are off." I said. "If she tries to talk to you she's gonna deflect like a mother fucker." Jimmy said as I ate. "That's why it's a pointless talk. I'm not wasting my breath on someone who let a 50-year-old from a 90-day fiancé manipulate her. Never mind the fact I stood by her side while she's been upset. I was even there when she found out he cheated." I said as jimmy rolled his eyes. "Exactly. That's the ridiculous part. It's a one-sided thing with her." Jimmy said. Deep down I didn't want to end it with Lala but if she's gonna continue to do this shit including talking about me and jimmy, we can't work out as friends

I was at home working on packaging orders as Nikki helped. "Thanks for the help sis," I said packaging stuff. "Your welcome." She said. As Nikki packed, I get a call from Lala. "Hey, jay." She said as I put the phone on speaker. "Hey, lala," I said as Nikki rolled her eyes. "What's going on?" I asked. "I was hoping we could have lunch and talk." She said as Nikki shook her head no. "I'll see what I can do I'm finishing up some orders from the site," I said before hanging up. "I have no desire to talk to her," I said taping up the packaging. "It's just the same song and dance with her," Nikki said. "I know it's just annoying I can't continue to keep doing this shit," I said. "As if you don't have enough on your plate. Jimmy, your family is making quotas at work like come on. She has a baby to worry about." Nikki said. "I'm just still mad about the Chicago situation with her. She was judging us for drinking thinking we alcoholics." Nikki said. "I know you tried to do good by her but come on sis. You don't need someone like her in your life." Nikki said. Deep down Nikki wasn't lying.

I walked into waterbar waiting to meet lala. "what can I get for you?" The waitress asked. "Can i get the Margarita Verde?" I asked. "Coming up ill be back with your drink," she said writing as she left. Lala walks in and sees me. The minute I see her, I wasn't feeling joyous to be in her presence. "Hey," she said before sitting down. "Hey," I said as she sat down. My drink comes as i felt awkward between us. "I heard you been talking about me and jimmy," I asked sipping my drink. "What was it that you said?" I asked. "I said jimmy no good for you." lala asked. "No that would be your fucked up relationship with Randal. At least jimmy is in my age range and doesn't manipulate me." I said rolling my eyes. "ok I shouldn't have said that about him." lala said. "After he told me to try to make amends with you after the whole Stassi and Kristen bullshit. You preach blm but you're ok with women who called the police on a black woman?" I said as lala sat there mad. "Ok and what about you? Mrs perfect," she said as I rolled my eyes. "Never claimed to be a perfect sweetie. That would be you. Take your head out of the clouds and wake the fuck up." I said mad. I swore I wasn't going into 2022 on some beefing shit but I refuse to let someone like lala with her self-righteous sober ass talk down to me. "Like what is your reason for bringing jimmy into this? That's why I'm mad about. Jimmys a respectable person and he's gone out of his way to be nice to you and all you can do is say hes not good for me?" i said mad. Lala sat there with nothing left to say because she knew i wasn't lying. "its cool lala. I've done all i can do to be nice and be friends with you. You don't like my other friends, you don't like jimmy and I'm done." I said. i could see the tears coming from Lalas eyes but to be honest i wasn't moved. lala got up and left crying as i sat there having a drink. I wasnt going to chase after he because she's the bitch who cry's wolf and it's annoying. She's a mother and she needs to grow the fuck up.

I get home ready to go deliver packages when I get a text.

I smile and reply back with a ❤️. "That's a real friend." I said smiling
