Our first thanksgiving

Since Jimmy has a game to play Sunday he's not going back to Chicago so he's spending thanksgiving with me and my family. "You sure your family is gonna be ok with me being here?" Jimmy asked. "Of course babe. They like you." I said smiling. "Besides we aren't staying long here shayla is having a gathering at her house." I said as we got out holding food. I walk inside and I hug my parents and brother tight. "You look beautiful." My mom said as I smiled. "Hey Jimmy." She said hugging him. "Hello mrs sanders." He said smiling. I walk inside with jimmy as I hug my brother and dad. "How are y'all doing?" I asked smiling. "We good." My brother said as I hugged my dad. Jimmy sees me hugging my dad and smiled. I went outside to smoke with my brother while Jimmy talked with my mom. "You happy sis?" My brother asked. "Yeah." I said smoking. "You love that boy huh?" He asked as I smiled. "Yeah." I said smiling. "I'm glad he treating you good." He said as I smiled. We all ate dinner laughing and enjoying each other's company. "Jimmy." My brother said. "Yes." Jimmy asked. "You been smashing my sister?" He asked I shook my head hiding my head. "Don't answer it babe." I said slapping him upside the head. "Jay cares about you a lot Jimmy." My dad said as I smiled. It meant a lot that my dad would say that about jimmy considering I been thought a lot of shit with guys. "I care about her a lot too. She's loyal and is a great support system." He said as I blushed smiling.

I got my food and talked with my parents as Jimmy went to use the bathroom before we went to shaylas house. "You doing ok honey." My mom asked. "Oh yeah." I said smiling. I handed her some money. "Y'all enjoy." I said as she smiled. "Thank you." She said as jimmy comes out. "You ready babe?" Jimmy asked. "Yeah. I got our plates." I said. "Love you guys." My family said smiling. "Love you too. I'll see you guys Saturday." I said waving bye and getting in the car with jimmy. We drove to shaylas house. "I love how close you are with your family." Jimmy said. "They my world." I said as jimmy smiled. Jimmy turned on some music as I looked out the window. As I'm looking out the window, "always be my baby" by Mariah Carey started playing. I started singing as jimmy smiled driving. Mind you I can't sing for shit but jimmy loves me anyway. "I know I can't sing." I said laughing. "It's ok your adorable." Jimmy said as I smiled.

We got to shaylas house and I hear music playing as we walk inside. Everyone was eating and laughing. "What's good sis?" I said coming in hugging her. "Hey sis." She said as I smiled. "Hey Jimmy." She said hugging. "Hey shayla." He said smiling. I see people dancing in the living room to 90s music and I smile. I pick up baby Kimmie smiling as she hugs me. "Hi my sweet girl." I said smiling holding her. I held her as jimmy smiled. "Your getting so big." I said as she cooed.

I got some seafood and sat with Jimmy as everyone chopped it up. "You want some?" I asked. "No I'm full." Jimmy said as I ate. "When do you go back to LA?" Jimmy asked. "Not until wendsday. The girls are coming out here to celebrate my birthday." I said eating. "Good I wanna be here for your birthday." Jimmy said as I smiled. "Sis you wanna gamble?" Shayla asked. "I'll be there to take y'all's money in a minute." I said eating. "I always take their money." I said eating.

I sat down at the poker table as I got dealt in. I looked at my cards as I held out this hand. Tyler won this hand. Jimmy whispers in my ear as I smile. I put my cards on the table as everyone rolled their eyes. "Run it up." I said taking the money. "Ain't no Black Friday shopping for y'all." I said smiling.
