Getting an award

Today was the day I was receiving an award from the West Hollywood chamber of commerce for all my work that I have done for helping domestic violence victims. I'm usually not to type to get awards like this but any chance for me to stunt on a hating ass bitch in Tom ford I will gladly do it. All the girls some guys from the niners were coming to support me. "You look stunning baby." Jimmy said as I smiled walking in with everyone. The party was jumping. Music and food was flowing. I was greatful to have everyone I love around to  support me. We all got to our tables and not long after I sit down, I see Lisa and her husband walk in. "Lisa here." Nikki said as I rolled my eyes drinking champagne. "She's gonna be like I wanna talk to you darling oh how I've missed you." I said in a fake British accent as everyone laughed. "I don't know even know what she's doing here she won't even admit the fact she's a victim of domestic abuse herself." I said. I'm not letting her dampen my night I do work to help women Lisa pays people that's the difference between me and her. "I'll have the surf and turf please." I said. Jimmy leans in and kisses my lips as I blush. "Thank you for being here." I said as jimmy smiled. "Of course." Jimmy said smiling. As I'm laughing with the girls, Lisa walks over to our table. "Hello everyone." She said as we all looked at her quiet. "Jay can I speak with you?" Lisa said. "Nope." I said eating. "Lisa do yourself a favor and go back to your table we aren't doing this here. There's no cameras so I don't know what shine you want from me." I said as she walks away. "She's not manipulating me." I said as jimmy hugged me impressed with the way I handled it. "Good evening everyone." The MC for the night says in the mic. "Thank you all for coming tonight we are honoring the many brave women and men who have fought their way back to the top from the shackles of domestic violence." She said as we all listened. "Our first award goes to a Bay Area native who's work all around West Hollywood has countless women to inspire their inner baddie persona." She said as I giggled. "Our first award goes to jay sanders."
The lady said as I stood up while all my friends and family clapped for me. I got up to the podium as people took pictures still clapping. I was walking on the stage as I smiled accepting the award. As I'm on stage, I still here my friends clapping and cheering. "Thank you everyone for coming. My life forever on may 13th, 2017. I was visiting my family in my hometown." I said. At that moment I threw caution to the wind I couldn't read from my paper. "You know what. Let me not bore you guys with that story. First of all I'm a survivor." I said as my friends and Jimmy cheered and clapped for me. "I've had people doubt me and my story but guess what I'm still here standing here in front of you guys tonight." I said as more people clapped. "God didn't want to take me to heaven early. I was fighting for my life and I came out the other side strong as ever." I said as everyone except Lisa's table stood up cheering and clapping. "Thank you." I said grabbing my award walking off stage to my table as people continued cheering. I sat down at the table as I hugged my girls and Jimmy. "We love you sis." Nikki said as I smiled. "I love  y'all." I said as jimmy kissed me. "My queen." He said as I laughed. I was feeling myself I was laughing happy and strong as fuck. Nobody had any power over me and I'm continue to be that bitch in every aspect of my life who matter who gets mad.
