Author's Notes
Nothing much to say but exams, I cry 😭 I still need to do my course work! Ack! (This was written on 24/6) Oh well anyways hope you had a lovely day, as always let's begin.Tessia's POV
"Director Goodsky told me to take it easy on my upper division classes until I adjusted to school. This is my first day, after all," he tried to ease off, but failing of course. You know this isn't going to work, I chuckled."Oh, come on! That's no fun now, is it? In order to get proper respect, a certain amount of skill needs to be shown, you know? It's just to prove to us that you are actually capable of being in this upper division class. Isn't that right, class?" she shouted. Exactly! Where's the fun, Art? Hahaha.
"Yeah!" The boy who started it shouted. And others joined him, and he smiled triumphantly.
Art gave me another look and I suppressed another giggle.
"Sigh... What did you have in mind, Professor Glory?" He said in defeat. Never thought Arthur would ever lose, in speech or in a fight. "Fear not! I am a just and fair woman!" she harrumphed.
Pfft! Just and FAIR!! Hahaha! A smile crept on my face, but it quickly went away as Professor Glory did the same as Claire. Is his neck a tourist attraction or something?!
"We will start off this semester by playing a little game! Aren't I so nice?" By the look on her face, she was the most excited about this. Continuing on, she said, "So! What kind of game should we play... a mock team battle? War?" Ooo how interesting!
"How about having the three disciplinary committee officers on the same team, Professor? I feel like that could be a good way to let us work on teamwork as well," Curtis raised his hand as Claire nodded in agreement next to him.
"Hmm not a bad-" she said but Arthur cut her off by putting his hand up...his head still hooked under her arm. "Not to say that Curtis' idea is bad, no it's a great idea rather! But the Director has recently decided to organise an event. If you would?" He looked at Professor Glory, and she released him wanting to know what's this "event" he was on about.
"Ahem as I was saying," He stood up and flattened his shirt, "although Director Goodsky just started organising it, I think this would be a good time to announce this...", every one looked at him with anticipation. "Com' on spit it out!" Some girl shouted.
"Disciplinary Committee vs our Student Council!" He announced.
What...? WHAT?! SO THIS WAS HOW THEY'RE DOING IT? Ha... I looked over to Clive then to Curtis then to Claire, they all had the same expression, shock which changed into excitement. Curtis and Claire fist bumped while Clive had this...smile, a disturbing smile as he glared at Arthur.
"What?" Some questioned after a paused, "oh fufu how interesting? I'm guessing it will also be a team mock battle as well then? Is that's why you announced it now?" Professor Glory said with a smile rubbing her chin, intrigued by the idea.
"As well as singles tournament!" Arthur then added with his index finger up. "Woooo!" The students started cheering, "Yes!" And some starting to place bets already, "I bet 2 gold coins that the Student Council will win!" "Then I bet 3 gold coins that the DC will win!" And arguments began, becoming more heated.
CLAP
The loud clap caught everyone's attention again. "Now then, class! After receiving such exciting news, let's get back to our class first!" She clasp her hands together. "Any volunteers?" She asked.
"Professor. How about having the student council president and I as their opponent?" Clive suggested. "Huh?" I looked at him, greatttt!
"Professor Glory. Since we're going to fight against the Student Council anyways, why not switch it up a bit?" Arthur suggested with a smile then glared at Clive, as Clive glared back at him. Does he know when to quit?
