"Anyways, hello! I used to be the brat's mentor, nice ta meet cha!" He held out his hand, a wide grin spread across his face from ear to ear.

"MENTOR?!" Both of my parents echoed...shouted.

He shot me a cheeky smile followed with a little wave, Gramps, whatever you're thinking right now, don't do it.

Oh Gramps. No. Don't you dare! I widen my eyes shaking my head, he met mine but he still continued.

"And hopefully one day fam-! Ack ouch!" He rubbed his side and looked down. "Child that hurt!"

"Hmph! W-well you shouldn't say things like that!" She pouted her cheeks were flushed with a beautiful bright pink. Nicely done Tess!

Wait...beautiful? Oh god! I raised my hand about to slap myself but then realised that I wasn't alone in the room, so I slowly put my hand back down.

After a few seconds she then realised that everyone was looking at her, that's when she decided to introduce herself.

"H-H-H-Hello! My name is Tessia Eralith. It's a pleasure to m-meet you! Please take care of me! I'm Arthur's childhood f-f-friend and I'm not sure if he talked about me with you but I really am!" Tess bowed so her body was at a full ninety-degree angle, her voice a mixture of respect and panic. She quickly got back up with her hair draping over most of her face and as she tried to fix her hair, I could see her face becoming more and more red.

Pfft! Hahaha! Oh Tess. A smiled unconsciously crept onto my face, I only saw her moments ago. But for some reason it felt like I had just reunited with her again, as if that moonlit walk never happened.

As I continued my unconscious stare, my parents gave each other a glance and nodded at one another.

My mother kneeled in front of Tess, "I see. Well aren't you the prettiest girl I've ever seen. Please take good care of my son. As you may know, he's the type to get into trouble a lot, so it'll really help me if I know he has someone like you next to him, now and in the future." My mother shot her a wink as she stroked Tess' hair.

My mother brushed Tess' hair away from her ear and whispered something else in her ear, making her bright red. Mum...what did you say?

*Stomp stomp stomp*

"MUM! WHO ARE YOU CALLING PRe...tt...y?" My sister barged through the door and yelled, but as soon as she realised who were standing in my room she went silent. With an 'ah I think I messed up' face, everyone went silent before bursting out laughing.

After a few moments, everyone started to calm down again. "Nice to meet you Ellie!" Tess held her hand out, "Arthur has told me so much about you!" She had a welcoming smile on her face, the smile that you could say anything to.

Ellie looked at Tess' face astonished by her bright smile. "Uh umm r-really?" She replied sheepishly.

"Ellie, she's the one who gave you that bow." I pointed to the elven bow that Tess gave her for her birthday, that she had hung to the side of her body.

"R-really?!" She looked at me then as her clutching her bow, "Thank you!" She said with a bright and endearing smile.

"No problem." She beamed, Ellie's face went flat then she pointed at her and herself. "Brother! Who's prettier? Me or her?" She blurred out.

"You're both pretty..." I started, both of their faces beamed. "Ugly to me." I finished. Silence.

Ah fuck. I felt their 'smiles' boring down on me, please. I'm already in pain, I'm not ready to die yet. TT

After some time, Gramps finished or rather exited the conversation with my and Tess' parents. He came to my bed and pulled out the chair beside it.
