Tessia's POV
"Arthur will need a surgery to redo his stitches that he had removed and to close up his jugular vein so that it can heal up and not cause anymore problems." She explained, "The surgery is serious, however thankfully our technology is just good enough to preform it without too many risks."

"How long will the surgery take?" Arthur's dad asked, "1 to 2 hours." She replied.

"What caused this? He was fine just yesterday." Grandpa asked through his teeth.

Kate took a deep breath before answering, "That, my team and I are not sure but we have a theory." She said, as she looked around the room as if asking for permission to continue.

We all nodded wanting to know the answer for all this madness.

"We know for a fact that Arthur himself forcefully removed his stitches and bandage, judging by his nails and the way the bandage and stitches were removed." She took a breath before continuing, "As for the impulsive behaviour, well. Before I continue, you need to understand that this is but a theory we will need to talk to him before confirming it."

Even though I had a dry mouth I tried to sallow trying to calm myself, my finger tips grew cold and numb from all the stress.

She took another deep breath, "The mana shield he conjured may have stopped the attack but he still took the impact, which may have lead to him to suffer a concussion. We noted a contusion (bruise) on the edge of his parietal bone." She used her finger and pointed at a spot just above her right temple, "I'm aware that this might be a stretch, but we think that from his symptoms he was suffering from a nocturnal panic attack triggered by some memories that was brought back by his concussion."

"So all this happened because he had a nightmare?" Art's father laughed in disbelief, "In a way, yes. If our theory is correct." She replied.

As she was saying all those words, my mind only thought of one thing. What scared Arthur into such lengths?

I ran through everything that he had ever told me about himself, from when we were 5 to our walk from a few nights ago. Wait...it can't be...the Elderwood guardian...could it?

My eyes unconsciously moved to Elijah to gage his reaction, but instead of looking at Arthur. His eyes met mine, our eyes widened at the realisation.

When their eyes met, only one thought came into mind. How do we both don't know?

As I was still racking through my memories trying to find something of help, "Back to the surgery, who will be performing it?" Arthur's mum asked, her forehead still on top of her clasp hands.

"I will be."

"I'm sorry?" She inquired, "Although I may look young, I have a MD and I'm also an AA class emitter. I don't want to sound impolite, but I maybe one of the only people who can do this surgery with any if not higher chance of success." She straightened herself to appear more professional.

Art's parents glanced at each other, "Well then, please take care of him." Arthur's dad said as he bowed. "No, no it's my job. Thank you for trusting me with your son." She smiled respectfully returning a bow.

"Any more questions before I begin to prep myself for the surgery?" Kate asked as she looked around the room, "What are the chances that Arthur will survive this? And if possible not suffer any long-term consequences?" Grandma Cynthia asked.
