Audrey's POV
I still couldn't believe what I'd just seen. I wanted to stare in amazement, but I couldn't. My hands were trembling and my heart was racing. I handed the phone back to Ryan and wiped my sweaty palms on my jeans.
"I just can't believe this." I said aloud, brushing my hair out of my face with my fingers.
"That your daughter's biological father is an internationally famous singer in a boy band? Yeah, I don't think anyone would be able to believe that." Ryan pointed out.
"But I'm 99.99% sure that that's the guy I met on the corner club on South Main Street. We slept together that night....it has to be him."
I took my phone out of my pocket and went to my pictures. When I found one of Annabell I showed it to Ryan.
"This is Annabell. Compare it to the guy and tell me if they look like they could be related."
He studied the pictures for a moment, looking back and forth between them. His eybrows were furrowed and suddenly they unfurrowed and his eyes opened wider.
"Yeah. They look related...."
I took my phone from his hands and started back up the hilled sidewalk to the parking lot. There was no way I was going to school now that I knew who he was. Or at least sort of knew. I knew he was in One Direction; that should make it easier to figure out his name.
"Audrey, wait up!" Ryan called from behind me.
I didn't slow my pace as he trotted up next to me.
"Where are you going?"
"Home. I can't focus knowing that I finally found him after three years."
I got to my car and unlocked it, throwing my bag in the back seat.
"You found a picture of him." Ryan clarified. "He's a popstar, there's no way you're going to get to him...at least not without help."
"What are you suggesting?" I quizzed, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Let me help you. I'm good at stuff like this, you might need me."
I nodded slowly looking down at the ground.
"Okay fine, get in," I replied opening my door and sliding into the drivers seat.
He opened the door to the passenger side and slipped into the seat, closing the door and buckling his seatbelt. I put the key in the ignition, realesed the emergency brake and put the car in reverse, backing out of the parking lot. It was going to be a long night.
