If you must know, my friend was, and still is, suicidal. That is why I haven't had the time to update. If that means I lose readers, so be it; my friends and family are more important than this book. If you disagree, oh well. I'm thinking about possibly deleting this since I get hate for not being able to update even though you have no idea what the reason is behind it. I'm sorry to those of you that have been nice to me. I love you all so much! If I lose this friend I don't think I can carry on, so please please understand that she is like a sister to me and I can not be without her. She's my support buddy. Thank you :)

Audrey's POV

The screaming girls around the outside of the hotels entrance seemed to take little notice to Louis and I walking past. Seems like the plan I doubted was actually working. Maybe I need to stop doubting.

When I first talked to Louis after three years, I doubted he cared. He said he'd be at the park, I doubted that he'd actually come. The whole time I thought he was just another guy who didn't give a rats ass about anything other than himself. But out of all the things I've doubted the one that struck me most was that I doubted him. I doubted his ability to step up and be a man; be a father.

We passed by the sea of screaming teenage girls and a few lingering stares. Probably cause I was dressed nice compared to hoodie boy with his hand in mine.

"Louis, where are we going?" I asked, slightly laughing to myself. He hadn't said a word about our destination.

He smiled, "You'll see."

I rolled my eyes annoyed with not being able to know. There were more trees in the area now and I was even more confused. We were approaching field of green grass and trees. Louis walked off of the sidewalk dragging me with him across the grass. People around glanced up at us as we walked past. A blanket underneath a tree not far ahead caught my eye. Louis was heading right in that direction too.

I stopped about five feet away from the blanket, causing Louis to stop and turn to face me. "What you're not hungry?" he asked almost jokingly.

"No...it's just that..." I sighed.

Louis stepped closer to me, "What?"

"You look really stupid with this hoodie on." I said smiling at him and taking his hood down. He smiled back at me as I let it go. I looked down and smiled, but a finger touched under my chin tilting my head back up. My lips parted slightly with the unexpected gesture as my gaze met his. It was silent between us and I really thought he might kiss me until he went and sat down on the blanket. I mentally face palmed myself. Why would I even think that? Even more important: why did I hope for it?

A sigh escaped my lips and I shook my head of the thought as I sat down next to Louis on the blanket. He took a container out and handed it to me. When I opened it a smile formed on my lips. "How did you know I like chocolate covered strawberries?" I asked amused.

"I have my ways." He replied smiling at me.

"I think what you're trying to say is that you have Josh, who just so happens to be my brother and knows everything that I fancy in life." I said taking a bite of a strawberry.

"And that's where you're wrong." I tilted my head waiting for an elaboration. "Josh doesn't know everything you fancy." he finished, reaching for a strawberry.

What did he mean everything that I fancy? The only thing Josh doesn't know is if I fancy another person. There's no reason for Louis to ask him that. "What doesn't he know?" I asked curiously.

Louis froze, "Uh, nothing."

"Ohhkayy..." I laid back on the blanket and looked up at the sky. "I remember when I was little Josh and I would go to the park with my mum and lay in the grass looking up at the sky pointing out different clouds. Josh always thought they looked like dinasours and my mum would insist they were flowers." A smile crept onto my lips as I reminisced in the memories.

"What did you think they were?" Louis asked.

"I don't know, animals." I laughed. He laid down on his back next to me. "See, that one looks like a kangaroo." I said pointing to a cloud.

"No that's definitely a giraffe." he said, sounding almost serious. I hit his arm. "Ow. What was that for?"

"Making fun of the kangaroo!" I replied.

"Giraffe." he corrected.

"You are impossible." I laughed.

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

I turned on my side and placed my head in the hand proping me up. "I guess that depends." I said flashing him a smile.

"On what?" he asked furrowing his eyebrows.

Shrugging I said, "Guess you'll have to find out."

"Sounds like a challenge; I accept." I shook my head as he smiled at me.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The little picnic ended up being lots of fun. Admitedly, I didn't expect it. Now we were on our way back to the hotel, just talking. He stopped dead in his tracks. Before I could get out the words to ask what was wrong, Louis grabbed ahold of my arm and shoved me to the side. The first thing I noticed was the odd darkness in the space I now stood compared to the Miami sun. Just as I started to lose my footing Louis' body pushed mine against a cold, hard surface.

"What the hell are you doing?" I hissed, attempting to pry myself off of the wall behind me. Louis had my hands pinned onto the wall and I couldn't get free.

"Shh, just don't say anything. There's paparazzi outside; they'd know who I am." he explained in a low whisper.

His eyes looked into mine which now held a more sympathetic expression. It must suck to not even be able to go out in public without looking over your shoulder every five minutes to see if you're being followed. My eyes were fixed on his. In the dead silence of the dark alleyway it became obvious to me that I never realized how pretty his eyes were. They were a deep sea blue, sucking you into the depths until you couldn't find your way out; like you were drowning.

He realesed his grip on my wrists but our bodies were still barely inches apart. I subconciously bit my bottom lip at the thought of our close proximity. His fingers gently pushed my hair out of my face, but his hand then moved down to my cheek and I hadn't even gotten the time to register what was happening when our lips connected in a short but sweet kiss. Lips lingered above mine for a second before I tilted my head upward to meet them, my hand reached up to rest on his.
