Audrey's POV
Don't you just hate when you're in a peaceful sleep that could go on forever and then you wake up? How about being shook awake from such a serene sleep? Well that's what happened to me. I was just sleeping in a deep and peaceful sleep when someone starts to shake me awake.
"What?" I groaned.
"Audrey, get up." a male voice said continuing to shake me.
"What do you want?" I asked groggily as I slowly turned over onto my back.
"You have to get up. Like now." the voice ordered.
"Why?" I whined like a child.
"Because my mum is coming."
My eyes shot open and I sat up as quick as possible. Now I recognized the voice. "W-what do we do about Annabelle?" I asked worriedly, he still hadn't told his mum.
"I think we have to tell her." he sighed.
"Wait a minute...we? She's your mum." I pointed out.
"Yes, she is. But you're Annabelle's mum. She's going to want to meet you." he reminded me. I groaned. "Plus you might have to act like my girlfriend."
"Excuse en moi? N-n-n-no. I am not pretending to date you." I stated shaking my head.
"Just for a couple hours. Please?"
"But what about Eleanor? Isn't your mum going to expect the kid to be hers?"
"I haven't known Eleanor for three years."
"You didn't know me either! Just why me?" I asked stubbornly.
"Cause she's your daughter."
I sighed. No matter how much I didn't want to be his 'girlfriend', there wasn't any escaping. Then a question popped into my head. "I don't have to kiss you right?"
He smirked. "Unless you really want to make it seem real." he said and walked out of the bedroom.
I sighed and threw the covers off of me. Swinging my legs around, I got up and out of my bed. Luckily I'd showered the night before so I just had to get dressed, brush my hair, brush my teeth, and put on some makeup.
After putting on my black skinny jeans and pink, off-the-shoulder, crop top with a white cami underneath, I moved to makeup. All I put on way mascara, a skin colored eyeshadow, and clear shimmery lip gloss. Then I rebrushed my hair so it looked more contained. It was straightened today.
I scurried down the steps in just enough time for the doorbell to ring and to scoop Annabelle up in my arms.
"Ready?" Louis asked.
"To meet your mum or to be your fake girlfriend?" I quizzed sarcastically. He rolled his eyes and went to answer the door. A woman with brown hair and blue eyes, just like Louis, walked into the flat. I smiled at her and she smiled back politely, but I could sense her confusion.
"Mum, I- we, need to tell you something." Louis said as if it weren't obvious. He came next to Annabelle and me before continuing. "This is Audrey, and this is Annabelle....our daughter."
His mum looked pretty stunned. She blinked and then began to speak in a confused tone. "Wha-what about-"
"We broke up. I'm kind of dating someone else now." he said cutting his mother off.
"Oh." there was a long pause of awkward silence and then an unexpected smile spread across her face. "Welcome to the family!" She greeted coming over and giving me a hug. Can you say awkward?
"Thanks." I replied adding a genuine smile. I didn't really need to be welcomed, but whatever.
We spent a while chatting about different things. Mostly just Jay and I, though and now it was close to 6pm. Apparently he has four younger sisters and they were going to visit in a bit along with his dad. I feel kind of bad pretending to be going out with Louis. His mum seemed so excited.
"Do you two even get time to go out anymore?" Jay asked.
Louis and I looked at each other. "Uh, no, not really." I said. Well I'm only guessing cause I've never even had a relationship since Annabelle. But I'd imagine I wouldn't have time for dates.
"I've got it! You two should go out tonight. Your dad will be here soon with the girls and we can manage to watch Annabelle." Jay exclaimed proud of her idea.
Me on the other hand, I was terrified. No way did I want to go on a 'date' with Louis. But how could I say that? "Mum, you don't have to..." Louis began to protest.
"No no, I insist. You're young, you need to go out and have fun. I'll watch the darling little angel." Jay persisted.
"Okay." Louis sighed in defeat. "Come on Audrey."
You have got to be kidding me. Now I really have to go out with him. Really? Well, maybe it won't be that bad.
I stood from the couch and thanked Jay before heading out the door with Louis. "So where are we going?" I asked as I buckled my seatbelt.
"I don't know. Where do you want to go?" He asked backing out of the drive.
"Umm...somewhere with food; I'm hungry." I said. I turned the radio on and it was some song I didn't recognize, but apparently Louis did. He was smiling for whatever reason. I decided to listen to the words.
"Every time we tuh-uh-uch you get this kinda ruh-uh-ush. Baby say yeah-y-yeah-y-yeah. Yeah-y-yeah-y-yeah. If you don't wanna take it slow and you just wanna take me home baby say yeah-y-yeah-y-yeah. Yeah-y-yeah-y-yeah."
I glanced over at him. "Okay why are you smiling?" I asked confused.
"You don't know anything about our band do you?" he asked amused.
"Uh, no. I have this thing called a life. I'm not stalking boy bands, sorry." I mentioned sarcastically.
"Ouch. Well it's our song on the radio right now." he said.
"Oh." I admit I felt pretty stupid that I didn't know that.
Not long after we pulled up at some restaurant. Louis told me to follow him in so I did. He talked to the hostess and she took us to a table. All of the boys were there and their band.
"Audrey?" I heard someone say. I followed the sound of the voice and my eyes almost popped out of my head.
"Josh?!"
