I wasn't able to sleep early because of the thoughts that were bombarding my mind. Huminto na rin naman na ang pag-iyak ko noong madaling araw na, at maganda rin na hindi ako nakatulog kaagad para hindi mamaga ang mga mata ko paggising.

I didn't know when Mooze entered the room again. I just knew that he's beside me when I woke up.

When you'll look at him from afar, you will easily think that he's something. That he's a bad boy, powerful and merciless. That's what his appeal conveys. But looking at him now closely while he's sleeping, I couldn't help but be amazed.

Mukhang anghel 'pag tulog. He looks like a lion wanting to be caressed, too.

Paggising ko kanina, mabigat ang pakiramdam ko dahil sa nangyari kagabi, pero nang lingunin ko ang gilid ko at nakita ko siya, unti-unti nang nawala ang lungkot ko. It was then replaced by amusement and excitement.

His eyelashes are really beautiful. It's curved, and really dark. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang gumalaw nang kaonti ang mga kilay niyang kasing itim ng kan'yang buhok. I thought he's already awake, but upon observing his breathing, I've concluded he's still deeply asleep.

"Napuyat," I whispered to myself.

I sighed thinking what he did for me. There's no doubt that he's also part of the reasons why I ended up being in this situation, but thinking about his consistency... I couldn't help but feel softened somehow.

Looking back, I've seen how he didn't have second thoughts about having me... He's like Mina... He cares for me so much, too. I think it's enough reason to feel fortunate at times like this where you could see people that truly care for you.

I felt my phone vibrate and I saw a message from Mina. Hindi ko na nabigyan ng pansin ang mga messages niya kagabi at kaninang madaling araw.

Fr: Mira Nash

Goodmorning, bff. I'm here in front of Kuya Trevor's condo. Sinabi sa akin ni Mooze kagabi. I'll wait until you wake up.

My jaw dropped. She's here. Hindi ba talaga siya papasok? Si Mooze... Anong oras na. Hindi rin ba siya papasok?

I carefully removed the comforter covering my body. Maingat din akong umalis sa kama para pagbuksan si Mina. Mooze was the one who informed Mina, so I think it'll be fine if I'd let her in without his consent. After all, Mina's close to me.

I walked barefoot and opened the door. Mina's eyes widened as she hugged me tighter. I felt her shoulders quivered, an indication that she was crying.

"I am sorry, bff! I am sorry I wasn't able to help you! Ang dami kong dapat sabihin sa'yo! Sorry talaga!" she cried on my shoulder.

I caressed her back. "I'm fine now. Thank you sa concern mo... It's already enough that you're here."

Her cries continued and we stayed like that for a few minutes. Sa kitchen kami nag-stay dahil may mga dala siyang pagkain pang breakfast. Ako na ang nag-ayos, nahihiya pa nga ako dahil masyado yata akong feel at home.

I was fixing the food when she started confessing to me. I was forced to stop what I was doing.

"I was jealous. Kaya sobrang moody ko towards you dahil pakiramdam ko... may gusto sa'yo si Franco," she started and I was shocked.

"Magkapatid kami, Mina..."

She sighed. Her eyes are still bloodshot.

"But you guys aren't related, that's why I really thought it's possible for Franco to like you. He likes you, bff. Matagal ko na siyang gusto, kaya kilala ko na siya. And by just catching him looking at you the way he never looked at anyone before, I already know he really likes you..."
