A Weird Encounter

I stared at the blank wall of my room. I hadn't bothered to put anything up, not that I could have afforded to decorate. I was at a very bad point in my life. I was getting by but barely. Unemployed and with no one supporting me. Sure I had friends but none of them were better off than me. My only source of income was gambling and darts. Maybe I should have taken my parents' advice? I thought. I hated to admit they were right but maybe they were. If I had gone to UA I would certainly be better off. I could have followed in my parents' footsteps and became a stupid hero. I slammed my phone down. Just the thought of becoming a hero disgusted me. The hero society was so corrupt and no one even cared. Both of my parents were pro hero but they and all of their "hero" friends were assholes. I get that pro heros are people too and they make mistakes but everyone idolizes them and makes them their role models when they really shouldn't. No. No matter how much I'm ever struggling financially at least I'm living my own life, I decided. I got a sudden boost of confidence and decided to head down to the bar. On my way, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Blue light glasses partially hiding the dark circles under my eyes, sweatpants covered with coffee stains, and a T-shirt I don't even remember buying. Needless to say, I was a hot mess. I let out a heavy sigh. It would be so nice just to no care about my appearance but I went to this bar regularly and I didn't want to tarnish my reputation. I pulled out the elastic band in my hair. Almost riping out of my hair in the meantime. I put on new clothes and a little bit of makeup trying not to waste any.

"Finally, I can fucking leave," I muttered to myself out of annoyance. I did have a car and it was pretty nice. My parents gave it to me for my 16th birthday. That was back when we had a decent relationship. I drove down to the bar and swiftly got out.

"You look a little young to be here," a random person yelled at me. I could tell he was drunk but his comment still pissed me off.

"I'm 22 do you want my birth certificate," I said coldly.

"Woah no need to get mad. Why don't I buy you a drink?"

"No thanks," I replied. I sat down at the bar and looked around for a certain bartender. One night I had been really desperate and he had really helped me. He listened to me rant, didn't charge me for the drinks and when I got too drunk started giving me water instead of shots. After that, we just bonded.  Ace was one of the few people I was actually close two.

"Y/n," Ace called out when he saw me.

"Ace! How are you doing?" I asked.

"Just as boring as ever. How about you?"

"Still alone and unemployed."

"You could probably get a job if you tried."

"No thanks trying is too hard."

"You're impossible. Whiskey I assume," Ace said shaking his head.

"Yes, please," I replied happily. Ace handed me a glass and I began drinking. I was going slower than normal. I just wasn't in the mood to actually get drunk, just a little tipsy. I was busy minding my own business when a particular man sat down next to me. He kept eyeing me too. I gave Ace I look that said SOS.

"Um, can I get you a drink?" Ace asked the man.

"No, no. I'm just fine," the man replied. He kind of looked like a freeze-dried blueberry. And what was his obsession with hands? He was literally covered in them.

"So what bring you here then?" I asked.

"I'm looking to recruit."

"So you have a cult."

"No... have you heard of the League of Villians," he said quietly.

"You those dumbasses who keep fucking with the heroes."

"Of course you would say that your parents are heroes."

"They are but how do you know that?"

"With such a powerful quirk why are you not a hero yourself."

"I'm not sure you heard my question but that is none of your business."

"Listen I lead the League of Villains. Kurogiri-"

"Am I supposed to know who that is."

"No, I was going to explain if you hadn't interrupted me. Anyway well, he was our transportation but right now he's... a little preoccupied. Your quirk is kind of similar to his I was wondering if maybe you wanted to join."

"No thanks. And why do you know all these things about me?"

"I did some research. And I know your unemployed. This would be a great job opportunity."

"T-that's personal information. So just fuck off."

"No need to get upset. I just think you would be a great asset to our team."

"Well, I'm not looking for a team."

"Cmon. Don't you to teach the heroes a lesson."

"Just because I'm an anti-hero doesn't make me a villain. Sure I don't like the hero but I'm not going to waste my time trying to stop them."

"Are you going to give up now Shigaraki."

Three people started walking up behind the man I assumed was Shigaraki. One of them looked like if you burned an of leather and then let it rot in a box for 100 years. He had quite beautiful eyes but I couldn't get past the fact that half of his skin was burned off. He was also literally stapled together. I guess he just didn't want to pay the expense of getting actual medical attention. Based on the condition of his clothes, which looked like they had been to hell and back, it looked like he did not like to pay the expense on anything. There was another person next to him who was a little less strange but definitely not normal. He had on a suit that covered his entire body including his face. It was black with some gray accents. He also had weird red and green bracelet things. And finally, my eyes drifted to her. Before I had been completely uninterested in the league but now things started to change. The girl had two messy buns on either side of her head and yellow eyes. She had on a schoolgirl outfit but looked about my age. She had a weird aura about her that intrigued me. I felt myself start to get nervous. It was a roller coaster of emotions and a feeling I had never felt before

I know that Shigarki doesn't recruit people but I just wanted them to be introduced to the main characters right away. It's not the longest but whatever. It's late so I can't really think of anything to say. Happy pride month🏳️‍🌈.
