Chapter 63

"Are you sure you want to reset your start date to today?"

Yes / no

Jisung sighs, hitting the reset button. Looking down at his phone screen with a frown.

"I've been selfharm free for six seconds."

The boy chuckles bitterly, letting himself fall back on his bed. "And we're back to the beginning." He mutters, closing his eyes.

"Mate, you ready to go?"

Jisung recognises Felix's voice, and he quickly pulls his sleeve down his arm, hissing at the contact of the fabric with the torn skin.

"Yeah, coming."

Jisung takes a deep breath, then getting up from the floor, opening his door to meet Felix and Jeongin already waiting patiently.

Felix smiles at the boy, swinging his arm around his shoulder, "let's go!!"

He pulls Jisung with him to the door, turning around when he notices Jeongin isn't coming.

The boy's eyes are locked on his phone, a small smile tugging on his lips. He doesn't notice the other two looking at him expectantly.

"...Innie?" Jisung catches his attention, as Jeongin looks up at them with big eyes. "mmh?"

"You coming?"

He blinks a few times, before realising the other two are ready to go.

"OH, yeah sorry." He smiles apologetically, scratching his neck before walking past them, glancing at his phone one last time with a smile.

Jisung and Felix follow behind him quickly, glancing at each other with their eyebrows raised.

Who is Jeongin texting and why does he look so happy?

Not that they're complaining though, it's nice, seeing him happy again. He seemed a bit... off lately. After the incident with Bonwha he's been smiling less, more cautious and always tensed.

He looks better now, smiling more, joking around again.

Felix looks down when his phone buzzes, indicating a new text message, "Binnie hyung wants us to bring snacks." He informs the others, who nod.

Felix types back a reply, before sliding his phone back into his pocket, smiling as he hooks his arms around Jisung's and Jeongin's.

When they arrive at the grocery store not too far away, they instantly hurry to the snack section, eyes wide and excited at seeing the huge amount of food they can choose from. they split up, all choosing a few snacks and adding them to the cart.

Felix notices Jisung studying the package he's holding intensely, and he comes up behind him, carefully taking it out of his hands. "Don't look at the calories." He says softly, smiling reassuringly.  

Jisung nods, "yeah.. sorry." Felix takes the boy's hand in his, giving it a small squeeze as he adds the chips he was holding before to their cart.

"Okay seems like we got enough," Jeongin sighs, giving a painful look to his wallet.

"And let me guess, neither of you brought any money?" He looks up at Jisung and Felix, who shrug.

"nope." They say at the same time, smiling dumbly.

Jeongin groans, pushing the cart in the direction of the cash register, "you better make Changbin hyung pay me back." He says, directing his words to Felix.
