Chapter 3; Lifelines

"Fuck yes!" Kaoru whispered to himself while he was typing away on his laptop. It was late in the evening, but Kaoru couldn't sleep. He found it harder to sleep these days. He decided he would do the one thing he could do, research about S.

It was a mess really, he didn't know what he was doing. But he managed to find some useful infortmation, though it had been too easy to find. Kaoru suspected something was up but his suspicion got overpowered by his excitement. He finally had something to go against Adam with.

Kaoru started making a plan when there was knock on the front door, it was quiet, not quite there but he was sure he heard it. Kaoru stood up suspiciously and grabbed his gun. Who would be at his door so late in the evening.

It was ridiculous for him to be acting like a scared puppy while this building was pretty good guarded but he could never be sure. He opened the door and Miya was there.
"For fucks sake you gave me a heart attack!" Kaoru sighed relieved.
"What did i do?" Miya exclaimed as Kaoru let him in.
"Knocking weird."

He rolled his eyes at Kaoru and stepped inside. He eyed Kaoru unsure. "Whatsup Miya want something to drink?"

Miya shrugged, "I can't really sleep and i knew you'd be awake. You mentioned somewhere along conversations that you had trouble sleeping."

Kaoru was surprised Miya even remembered that. Kaoru had said it a while ago, in between another conversation they had. "So something to drink?" Kaoru asked before asking any more questions to the boy who kinda looked like he needed a talk

Miya nodded, and Kaoru grabbed two beers from the fridge. Kaoru sat down and took a sip from his beer.
"How did you know you were gay?"
Kaoru almost choked on his beer.
How did he know? He couldn't remember telling him. What's the best way to approach this? "Uuh I'm actually bisexual but how did you know, i didn't exactly tell you guys?"

"Oh i though you were gay, i wasn't sure but you just confirmed it." Miya said with a slight smile, "But how did you know?"
Kaoru shrugged, how did he know?
"It wasn't exactly something i always knew, i just kissed a guy one day and i was like 'huh maybe i like guys too?' My sister thought me about it, when i told her i liked both guys and girls."

Miya only nodded and sipped his beer, "Why do you wanna know?"
It was obvious why Miya asked him.
Miya shrugged, "I don't think i ever felt the need to you know, kiss and have sex with girl? It's weird actually, i did it once and it wasn't necessarily bad it wasn't just for me." Miya explained, Kaoru was surprised that Miya wanted to come to him for advice, they'd only known each other for a month or something. Kaoru wasn't used to talk like this too, he knew about queer people and a lot of sexualities but he had never talked about it with someone beside his sister.

"And do you have any attractions to guys?" Kaoru asked, Miya shrugged, "Not sure."
Kaoru wanted to make a joke but he wasn't sure if it was an appropriate joke and the best thing to do. Then he realised he kinda saw Miya as his sister and he had to force a smile away from his face.

"You don't need to have sex if you don't want to."
"Really?"
Kaoru nodded, "Yeah, you're could be asexual, but you don't have to label everything. Sexuality is a spectrum ."
Kaoru wanted to change the subject real bad, but he could see on Miya's face he was actually helping him.

Miya raised his eyebrow, sorta excited. "Cool." was everything Miya had to say about it and he changed the subject.

"What were you doing?" Miya asked as he saw Kaoru's laptop open on the coffee table. "Same as always."
"Aren't you going to tell me?"

Then Kaoru got an idea, he could have them, Reki, Langa, Kojiro, Miya and even Hiromi help him, back him up.
"I was hacking into S." Kaoru said, Miya perked up.
"You did? How did you get past their first security? Even i couldn't yet! " Miya asked, his eyes twinkled happily.
