The immense crowd cheered loudly for their new king who would rule their kingdom for a long time. King Tedros of Camelot, the next king after King Arthur. He smiled and waved at his kingdom and the people screamed louder. They were greedy for his blown kisses and threw roses at the platform. Not only was he one of the youngest king to be crowned, he was also the first king with no queen.

"I have not yet found a suitable queen for myself and my kingdom." He'd said in his pre-coronation speech and the people of Camelot had not minded this. They only wanted the best king yet. Why should they want or have a queen when they had King Tedros? However they still wondered who would be the next king when Tedros died. They had been so gravely disappointed when Tedros and Sophie declared in 'The Tale Of Sophie And Agatha' that they no longer had any feelings for each other.

"King Tedros! King Tedros! King Tedros!" The people chanted in unison. Tedros grinned and boldly announced:

"As the new king, I will make Camelot great again!"

Proud that their king had so much confidence, the crowd roared even louder. Perhaps the neighboring kingdoms also heard and wondered if there was some war going on.

"And," continued Tedros, "allow me to introduce Sophie and Agatha of Woods Beyond who will be working alongside me as my assistants!"

This was almost too much for the mob of people to bear as they stomped, yelled and whistled with great excitement. Their mouths hung open when Sophie, more ravishing than ever and Agatha, so dainty, made their way out onto the platform from the doorway connecting from the castle to the balcony. It was evident that the two girls had gotten extremely popular because of their story as the crowd howled like hungry wolves that had found food.

"Sophie! Agatha! Sophie! Agatha!" Some were even at the verge of bursting into happy tears as they leapt up and down impatiently. Sophie and Agatha waved at the kingdom's population in response to their warm welcome. They laughed as a young child in his excitement, jumped among the crowd and landed on someone's foot, causing them both to fall over. After the crowd finally silenced their elation, Tedros announced something else that caused the people to become more than overjoyed.

"My most special and the best knight Camelot has ever seen, Chaddick and his lady-in-waiting, Beatrix of Jaunt Jolie!"

Chaddick and Beatrix also saw a sudden rise in their popularity as they were welcomed just as cheerfully as Sophie and Agatha had been.

"Chaddick! Beatrix!" The crowd must have had a habit of chanting the announced people's names.

"They like us." Whispered Sophie to Agatha.

"They like you more." Answered Agatha, grinning.

"I'm surprised they even know me well." Chimed Beatrix, joining them, leaving Chaddick standing next to Tedros at the front of the stage.

"Of course they know you. You were one of my best friend in 'The Tale Of Sophie And Agatha'." Sophie said kindly.

"You and Agatha would be the most popular. Probably more than Tedros, too."

This was true as no one had heard that much yelling coming from a thousand or so people when Sophie and Agatha had revealed themselves, not even for Tedros, their own king.

"That may be true, but we don't care. We just want to help Tedros with his work in Camelot." Sophie answered. Beatrix looked at Agatha to see what she would say.

"What she said." Agatha nodded, smiling.

"So much has happened since the beginning of last year. When your story mysteriously began and continued on with so much drama and ended and now we're here, in Camelot. For Tedros who's now king." Beatrix sighed, gazing up at the blue sky, dotted with small, white clouds.

"Can you believe Tedros is king of Camelot? The boy who climbed the school master's tower out of anger and stress." Giggled Sophie.

"Technically that was my fault." Agatha laughed. Sophie shrugged and suddenly they heard a loud hissing coming from behind them. When they turned around they saw that is was...Dot who was dressed in frilly pink dress with matching bows in her hair. She was in the doorway, behind the curtains that blocked the way and peeking out.

"Dot?" Beatrix gasped, astonished.

"No, I'm  Anadil." Dot snapped sarcastically.

"What are you doing here?" Sophie asked, much surprised as Beatrix.

"How did you get in?" Asked Agatha who was the most composed  out of the three to see Dot.

"I convinced the guards that I'm Tedros's friend and I think they recognized me from 'The Tale Of Sophie And Agatha' because they let me in." Answered Dot, nervously.

"Is Anadil and Hester here, too?" Wondered Sophie, looking around for the witches.

"They're still on their holiday. I think they're in Jaunt Jolie, now. Or the Glass Mountain. I don't remember." The never was munching on a piece of chocolate shaped of a random stone. She stared at the crowd, wide eyed.

"Look, Dot. I think we have to address the people soon. Wait there and we'll come back." Said Sophie quickly when Tedros turned and gestured at her, Agatha and Beatrix to come forward.

"The best women I've ever met," he was saying as they stepped forward. "Sophie, Agatha and Beatrix."

The crowd rallied as Sophie opened her mouth to start speaking.

"At the end of last year," she began, "after the battle, I found Agatha daydreaming about something by herself. I asked what she was doing and the answer she gave me was the most inspirational and the best answer anyone could ever give. And the funny thing is, it's so true. Life and death. They're two words with opposite meanings. But (she smiled at Agatha as she continued) they mean the same. Life meant to live with joy and pleasure, and grief. Death meant leaving painfully, but painlessly, and leaving in regret, but also relief, and peace. Agatha didn't tell me all this but I understood. What she did tell me fully was achieving love for yourself. She told me loving yourself was the only thing you could do until death sweeps you away. That was life and death. Life and death, two opposite words that mean the same."

Tears were flowing out of many people's eyes and Agatha's and Beatrix's, too. Tedros and Chaddick looked as if they were about to cry themselves.

"We've all done bad things." Said Sophie. "But we mustn't live in regret, because when you know it, your life will be over. Like said earlier, death comes one day and the best way to go is to go, yes partially regretfully, but mostly in relief and peace. When you think the time is coming, think this. You are not going alone. You are not leaving unhappily. You're leaving proudly, proud of what you've achieved and peacefully. "

By the time, Sophie finished her speech, all of the crowd and her friends were crying.

"Life and death." Said Tedros in a choked voice.

"Life and death." The audience repeated together. Then all lapsed into complete silence. It wasn't uncomfortable silence. It was a comforting, loved tranquility. Everyone had the same feeling. The feeling of pride, gratification and sorrow, all mixed to make one emotion. Devotion. Love.
