Her back gashed and covered with crimson blood, Agatha staggered into class where Lady Lesso was teaching the class about types of traps to use on good. The dean didn't spare a glance for Agatha and continued to teach as the students all shivered at the sight of Agatha and her bloody mess. They had heard all that blood curdling screaming by her and Tedros right underneath them. Quivering, she dumped herself on her seat next to Hort who was staring at her with eyes that shown with admire and....love. She didn't notice his gaze and winced as pain darted through her bleeding back. Hort made his finger glow and pointed it at Agatha's back. Immediately her back stopped aching and bleeding.
"Huh." Agatha muttered and felt her back. She pulled her hand back to see not a single trace of blood. She faced Hort to find him grinning at her. She blushed and gazed away.
"Thanks." She whispered and smiled her winning grin.
"No worries. The red riding hood wolf died when a hunter killed him and ripped out his stomach to get riding hood out." Hort whispered and answered a sudden question from Lady Lesso.
"Have you ever been down there before?" Agatha whispered. But before Hort could answer, Lady Lesso turned around, hearing Agatha.
"Agatha! Why don't you tell us a recount of your experience in the doom room?" Lady Lesso asked with an evil grin. The class all turned and faced her. Agatha flushed and her face turned into a colour of a tomato.
"W-well....I....D-doom..." She spluttered. Hort came to her defense.
"Does she really have to answer that question? It's very private." He firmly asked out. Everyone averted their eyes to their teacher, waiting for her to reply. Lady Lesso simply scowled at him.
"Would you like to go to the doom room yourself, Hort?" She curtly pierced her eyes.
"No, but the demand you demanded to Agatha here was too harsh." Hort fiercely shot. Lady Lesso glared at him and went back to her lesson.
"This is the ooty booty trap where you get a pair of spiky boots that looks comfortable and fashionable in front of ever girls. When they where them, they will want to take them off because of all the sharp spikes and thorns in them but they can't take them off forever...." As Lady Lesso gabbled on her lesson, Hort and Agatha exchanged a conversation.
"Why did you help me?" Agatha questioned.
"Because I didn't want you to feel bad." Hort replied.
"But why didn't you want me to feel bad?"
"You're usually very nice and it would be a shame to make you feel emotional pain when you recently felt physical pain."
They carried on the conversation until the end of class. An eel twisted itself into a one above Hort's head while a smoking 20 appeared over Agatha's. She groaned.
"I'll admit. There's a reason behind why I defended you." Hort said as he and Agatha walked out of the classroom together. Agatha arched her eyebrow, questioningly.
"I like you, Agatha." Hort admitted his feelings for her. But she took it the wrong way.
"Of course you like me! You're my friend, Hort!"
Hort sighed and face palmed his face with his hand.
"No Agatha. I Like you like I have feelings for you."
"Friends have feelings of friendships."
"I like like like you, Agatha."
"Of course. You're my friend. All friends like like like each other."
Hort rolled his eyes. Agatha wasn't getting it.
"I'm in love with you!" Hort yelled, attracting attention. Whispers filled the hallway. Agatha's eyes widened. Now she got it.
"I-I like Tedros." She stammered and thought of her prince.
"You're my dream girl, Agatha and one day, I will be yours as you will be mine." Hort promised and ran off the the next class without Agatha. Dazed and thinking loving stuff about Tedros, she went to Professor Manely's class to uglify.
"Hort's girl! Hort's girl! Hort's girl!" The class chanted. At one of the back seats, Hort grinned slightly. Agatha rolled her eyes.
"Ohhhhh!" The class crooned as she plopped down on the seat next to Hort. Professor Manely scowled.
"Shall we start class now?" He growled. The class stopped crooning.
"Perfect. Dot, why do we uglify?" He quizzed.
"To not look pretty?" Dot guessed.
"Wrong! Anadil, why do we uglify?"
"To look ugly!"
"Wrong! Hester?"
"To look like a villain and to be a villain!"
"Correct! We uglify in order to look like a villain. Although, you behave like a villain, you must look like a villain!" Professor Manely beamed. Agatha rolled her eyes.
"Okay, good. Today we will be looking at each other's skills to battle!" The teacher announced, causing the class to cheer.
"Agatha and Hester! You two are up!"
The class chanted Hester's name. Agatha and Hester both glared at each other and began their battle. Hester's demon escaped her neck while Agatha had nothing. The demon came flying to Agatha as she racked her brains before she got hurt.
"Oh, I know there was a de-mon which died to attack
It didn't even realize that it was an actual brat.
The demon dropped down dead on the floor
while the owner lived and ran out the door.
Ohhhh.... Demon you belong in hell." Agatha sang with a croaky, husky voice. As the demon was flying, it dropped down onto the floor, dead. Hester survived as it said in the song. She ran to the demon's lifeless body, sobbing. The class went silent with amazement. Even Professor Manely was speechless.
"Amazing! Class dismissed!" Professor Manely dismissed the class with daze. Hester ran out of class without looking at Agatha, bawling with Anadil and Dot running at her flank. Guilt washed over her as she watched Hester sprinting away, crying with the demon in her hands. Someone patter her shoulder. She looked up to see Hort walking away. She sighed and headed to lunch. She hoped Tedros was okay. Since she was healed, she was more than okay. But Tedros had no one to heal him. Agatha ran into the dining hall to find Tedros sitting at Sophie's table and chatting with her. A knot tightened in Agatha's stomach as she saw Tedros and Sophie talking. But since Tedros and Sophie were just merely talking, she knew Tedros wouldn't back away from to Sophie. All the doubt washed away. She ran towards them. But the thing she didn't realize was the fact that Tedros had never truly gotten over Sophie.
