Weeks went by and everything that had happened to Sophie was long forgotten. Agatha and Tedros both knew the feelings they secretly held for each other. Their hearts cried for each other and ached whenever they saw each other. Tedros knew it was wrong to love an ex murderer, but could not help it.
Agatha sighed and watched Sophie holding Tedros's hand with jealous eyes. Her heart was almost broken as she saw Tedros and Sophie snogging and hold hands every single day. Sophie often saw those looks and stared back at Agatha suspiciously. And tears often formed in her bug eyes but she blinked them away especially when Sophie was close to looking. She sometimes caught Tedros staring at her not with hate. But with longing and she did the same right back at him.
But once as they were both alone and were running back to their castle from their lesson in the blue forest, their bodies collided causing both of them to fall onto the ground.
"Ouch." They muttered at the same time and looked up to see each other's faces. "Oh!" They gasped. Agatha blushed. Tedros recovered quickly from his shock.
"Hey, Agatha. Are you okay?." He helped her up. But, ass he tried to pull his hand away, Agatha gripped onto it tighter. His eyebrows furrowed in confusement.
"What, Agatha? Are you really ok-"
She kissed him. Full on mouth as if she could not help it. He pulled away, surprised and thrilled.
"Oh. Crap. I'm sorry. I- of course you're with Sophie. Gosh, I don't know what I'm doing." Agatha blabbered, her face flushing into a delicate pink color. For a second, neither spoke but simply gazed at each other. But as Agatha turned to leave, Tedros pulled her into a tight embrace.
"I know I really shouldn't, but I've grown to like you, Agatha. I don't care if you tried to kill Sophie. It's all in the past." He murmured, causing Agatha to giggle hysterically.
"What about Sophie?" She asked, returning his hug warmly and willingly.
"I-I'll decide what to do about her later. But right now, I only want to be with you, Agatha and no other girl." Said Tedros confidently.
"Even Sophie?"
"Even Sophie." He assured.
Agatha sighed with satisfaction and bliss. She buried her face in the prince's shoulder. This feeling of happiness was too good to be true. Perhaps this wasn't real at all. Perhaps this was all a nice dream.
A nice dream about to turn into a horrible nightmare. Her eyes widened as she caught Sophie's red eyes staring right at her. Not staring, but glaring. Glaring as if she could kill her this second. Agatha gasped. "Tedros."
"Hm?"
"Sophie," Was all she could say as she pulled back from the tight hug. But he understood clearly. His smile faded and an expression of panic came as he turned to face his princess who was glaring at both looking furious, sad and betrayed.
"S-Sophie." Tedros stuttered, nervously.
Her eyes sparkled. Sparkled with tears.
"I knew there was some sort of feelings going on between you two. How could I miss Agatha staring at my prince and me whenever we hugged? How could I miss Tedros staring at me and Agatha whenever we hugged? I knew you were jealous, Agatha and I have to say I felt glad that you were!" Sophie snapped. She was no longer the soft, smiling kind girl and was now instead an angry, menacing girl, her mouth pulled down into a deep frown.
"Sophie, I-" Tedros began.
"How could you? Tedros? Agatha?" Tears spilled out of her heartbroken eyes. Tedros averted his eyes from her. He couldn't bear to see her crying. Crying over his faults.
"That's beyond the question. How did you see us just now?" Agatha demanded, determined to sound angry and confident and failing, instead. Her mouth twitched and Sophie knew what it meant. Guilt.
"I saw everything. Or should I say, I planned everything. Tedros, I saw Agatha walking to her castle alone and I knew you saw her too when we were going back to our school. I looked at you and you were staring at her. I knew there was something going on. So, I told you I would walk with Beatrix even though she wasn't even there. You foolishly believed me. You bumped into her. And I saw everything." Her nose flared which was a sign that she was mad. Really, really mad. So mad that she might not even count as an Ever. She scowled at each of them and sprinted off toward the School For Good.
Tedros and Agatha stared at each other guiltily.
"We can still do this?" He asked with a weak smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. Agatha nodded and without a word, slowly wade her way to the School For Evil while Tedros ran to the School For Good, running after Sophie. But when he went in, Sophie was no where to be found. He walked past his fellow classmate, Nicholas.
"Hey, Nick. Have you seen Sophie?" He hurriedly inquired.
"I saw her go towards her dorm room." Nicholas pointed at the girls dorms section. Without a word, Tedros sprinted to the hallway and stopped in front of Sophie's door. he knew it was only Sophie in there as it was silent except for the sounds of Sophie's quiet crying.
"Sophie?" He called her softly. No one answered. "I'm sorry." He said. And even then, there was still no answer. Tedros sighed and leaned against the door, knowing that he wouldn't be forgiven for a long time.
