Lady Less dragged Hester down the slime covered stairs, tugging on her collar. She muttered about how Nevers' behaviors were turning into famous villains' behaviors.

"I hope you learn a lesson." The dean said and shoved Hester into the dungeon before heading back up the stairs, grumbling. A bead of sweat slid down Hester's cheeks and the beast turned around, saliva dripping. He sighed angrily at the sight of Hester again.

"You again." He growled and lifted the whip from the wall where it was hanging.

"Y-yes." Stuttered Hester and desperately looked around herself, searching for an escape. But all she could spot was the closed door behind her and the broken wall behind the beast that dropped right into the sludgy moat where many students had mistaken for an escape and had drowned. But Hester was much smarter than them. It was fortunate that her mother had been an evil witch who taught her everything about the doom room and how to escape through the broken wall without dying. First step was to go to the edge. Second step was to jump off, but near the wall where you would hold onto a mystery step. Third, you would feel the wall for an old door which led to a tunnel which led to an out-of-order toilet cubical.

She looked up from her thinking and smirked. The beast for a second, seemed mildly shocked at her sudden confidence, but matched her smirked.

"Confident, huh? I'll make this was hurt much more than last time." He laughed. His laugh sent a chill down Hester's spine. Her smirk did not go away.

"Sure. Go ahead and try." She said. The beast lifted the whip high into the air. He brought it down with a loud roar for Hester's back, but the whip only hit the slimy, stone ground. He wheeled around with a strange, "Huh". But Hester had already disappeared. She clung for her life on the secret stone step. She used one hand to grope for the handle while the other held onto the step.  A wave of sludge washed up over her and caused the single step that she was clutching onto go wet and slippery. Unable to see with the sludge covering her sight, Hester's hand lost grip on the step and with a loud scream, she fell into the deep, black moat and vanished quickly. The only remnant of her was a strand of shiny, red hair dangling on the step and another red hair floating on the  surface of the river.

Back at her dorm, Anadil and Agatha waited patiently for their friend to come back. They had already visited Dot at the hospital wing and had almost immediately ran away at the sight of their jolly friend. Dot's face and head was covered with crimson blood while a bloody 'white' bandage was stuck onto the cracked bit of the skull. Bother her broken, chubby arms and legs were blanketed with casts and a heart monitor was connected to her with wildly tangled tubes. They could hear the weak beating of Dot's heart. B-be-ep. B-be-ep. B-be-ep. The doctor had said she would not wake up for a while and that she was in coma.

Now, they were lying on their beds, waiting for Hester to return. But as hours went by, Hester never came back. Anadil and Agatha's brows knitted together with worry.

"Where could she be?" Wondered Anadil out loud.

"Is there a specific spot she goes to if she's in pain?" Asked Agatha, trying to think of ideas that could help finding their friend.

"No, Hester's never in real, hurting pain. A whipping isn't enough for her to go somewhere and hide." Answered the Albino. Suddenly, the door open with a loud crash and Lady Lesso barged in, the doom room beast behind her.

"Where is she?" Demanded the Evil's Dean. Both Agatha and Anadil knew 'she' meant Hester.

"We don't know, Lady Lesso. She never came back." They answered in union.

"Why?" Inquired Agatha.

Lady Lesso sighed. "She went inside the dungeon but disappeared. The beast doesn't know where she went and how she escaped." She explained.

"The door?" Guessed Anadil. The dean shook her head.

"The door was locked immediately when she went in. No spells can open it."

"She never got her punishment?" Asked Agatha.

"No." For the first time, Agatha and Anadil heard a new tone in Lady Lesso's cold voice. It was something like...worry.

"Where is she?" Wondered Anadil. She suddenly went to the window and peered out. For a second, she had seen a spark of red through the heavy rain. But nothing was there.

"Strange." She murmured to herself. Agatha and Lady Lesso stared at her curiously as she paced arounf the room, thinking. The memories of the sight of Hester's hair flashing in her head.
