Maeko struggled to figure out the weird feelings that were arising in her body. She shifted uncomfortably on her seat as she tried to focus on the class discussion. Her teacher was on a bad mood today and she didn't want to be the receiving end of his rage. She didn't get enough sleep last night but she tried to stay awake as much as she can.

A relieved sigh came out of Maeko's mouth the moment the class bell rung. "Finally."

"You look tired," commented Riko. "You've had a rough night?"

Maeko yawned. "I hadn't slept so well last night. Something's been keeping me awake lately."

"What is it?" asked Riko worriedly.

Maeko shook her head. "Nevermind that. I'll figure it out soon."

Maeko spent the rest of the day out of her wits. It was a struggle to keep up with the lectures and she almost failed a surprise quiz on the last period. Luckily, she remembered a small part of the discussion which was the main focus of the quiz. If she hadn't, she would've scored terribly low.

Not wanting the team to worry, she promised to go home earlier instead of visiting Teppei at the hospital. She texted Teppei before gathering the last bit of her strength to walk. It dawned on her that she knew everything she was feeling right now. She couldn't deny it anymore.

Maeko sighed. "I've really fallen in love. This is bad."

With a heavy heart, she gripped the strap of her bag tightly before glancing at the hospital. Maeko passed the hospital with no hesitation and turned away. She couldn't face him now. Not yet.
