Dear Mae,
I'm glad that you finally replied. I was beginning to think that you hated me. I'm on a tight schedule here. School in America is harder to adapt to but I'm working on it. My English has improved too. My father, on the other hand, is feeling better now. He is still at the hospital but according to the doctor, he'll be coming out a few months from now.
Of course, I forgive you. I was never angry at you in the first place. I knew how hard it was for you when I left. I'm just glad that you are finally moving forward. I don't want you to suffer any longer. I'm glad you forgive me as well. And I never took the words you said to heart. I knew you didn't mean them. Who do you think handled your temper for a year? Haha though I have a worse temper than you.
I've never heard of Seirin High before. Is that a new school? You should send me pictures here. It's a good thing you have good friends there. Tell me if they suddenly turn out to be bad friends. I'll fly there and kill them. Kidding aside (but I'm really not joking at killing them), I hope you enjoy your time there. If I get the chance in the future, I'll visit you and the old Teiko team members. I miss junior high haha.
Lastly, I believe those six will recover from whatever happened. They've been close for who knows how long. They'll fix their friendship in no time. Just wait and see. You'll just be surprised when they're suddenly hanging out like long-lost friends again.
I hope you find your definition of happiness soon! And thank you for everything too. Let's try videochatting next time. I'll let you meet my girlfriend.
Nijimura Shuzo
P.S. Knowing you, a lot of guys are probably asking you out. Don't say yes just to anyone. Make sure they're good for you first. And you better tell me who the person is so I can kill them if they hurt you. Say hi to your future boyfriend for me haha.
Maeko burst into fits of laughter. Shuzo really hadn't changed. From the letter's tone to the words he used, there was no doubt it was Shuzo who wrote the letter. She didn't even need him to sign the letter.
Sighing, she laid herself on her bed, thinking about how to reply. Suddenly, she received a text message.
From: Teppei
To: Me
Maeko-chan, Hyuga is not replying to my texts. Can you please spam his inbox and ask him to reply to me?
Maeko grinned. Junpei will be pissed but I'll do it.
