everyone believes me now. shocker. i was kinda hurt they didn't believe me from the start, but then again i did say that there was a massive hole in the wall. yet again, we are trapped in a random place with metal walls surrounding us with mechanic spider monsters waiting for flesh, so my statement doesn't compare. i don't know why thomas believed me, i am grateful, but i do wish someone else believed me, maybe even newt.

i'm gonna talk to newt today, maybe get his opinion on the commotion. i do feel really bad for him, everyone as well, but newt especially. newt is the second in command, so when he fails, he gets really disappointed in himself. i got up from my hammock and walked towards the meeting hut, which is where he normally is.

as soon as he saw me, his face lit up. ive never seen newt like this before. he walked over to me.

"you alright y/n?" he asked me.

"yeah i'm okay, you?" i asked him. he took a deep and needed breath and stepped back a bit.

"the runners are gonna go check out the hole today, i'm hoping they find something," newt said with absolutely no hope in his tone. i feel really bad for him, i mean he's been cooped up in these walls for three years and the runners have bearly found anything. newt told me he was second to come in this hellhole, that's why he's second in command, i feel awful. he keeps on telling me he's okay; i know that's not true. i decided to change the subject.

"um, have you seen thomas anywhere?" i asked politely, he almost looked sad at my question.

"uh, he's at the treehouse" newt said now looking down.

"thanks newt" i said, walking out.

i see thomas at the top of the treehouse, facing the maze doors, looking almost upset.

"thomas!" i shouted down to him. he looked down and saw me, he waved down to me with a slight smile. i climbed up and sat next to him.

"hi tommy," i said, facing him.

"hi y/n," he said with a nice smile.

"i just wanted to say thank you for believing me yesterday," i said.

"no problem, i knew you wouldn't lie," he replied shifting closer to me.

"um, something else happened yesterday at night," thomas said, looking down. i was now staring at him with a confused face.

"what happened?" i asked, intrigued.

"i had a dream, almost memories, from my past," thomas said, now looking at me, waiting for me to say something.

:wait' i thought, realising something.

FLASHBACK FROM LAST NIGHT

YOUR POV

it was late at night. maybe 3am. i was shaking, confused, looking deep into my dream. there was a women with black hair, a little boy with dark-brown hair and a tiny girl with h/c hair. the women was talking to the kids.

"remember mommy loves you!" she said, repeating about how much she loves those little kids. wait, that looks like tommy! and that girl looks very similar to me!

'mommy loves you' if its their mom, then that means me and tommy...

BACK TO PRESENT TIME

"wait! you're my brother!" i whisper-shouted. he just nodded his head, looking at me. we were looking at each other, me with wide-eyes and thomas with a big smile. it only took a couple of seconds for us to hug each other. like a genuine brother-sister hug. it was probably the best news ive heard since being here.
"i never saw that coming," i said, both of us chucking at my comment.
