2 months after tommy showed up at wills door

tommy was fast asleep in his bedroom. will was slowly making his way into the teenagers room to wake him up. tommy had been living with will for 2 months now and the brunette had become very protective over the blond. he wouldn't ever let the kid out of his sight, and if tommy was to ever leave the house, will needed his locations on at all times.

today though, tommy and will were both flying to america to hang out with a few friends for a few days. tommy hadn't really talked to anyone other than phil and techno, so no one knew of the situation tommy was in. the blue-eyed blond was also very very nervous about visiting everyone because he still had bruises scattered around his body.

will opened the door to the younger kids room, "tommy" will called out, walking over to shake the boy awake. the now irritated blond sleepily groaned. "you gotta wake up bubba" will instructed in a soft voice. tommy lazily put his hand up, indicating he wanted 5 more minutes of sleep. wilbur chuckled, "you can sleep on the plane, toms" will reminded.

tommy whined, but when he realised he wasn't getting a reaction out of the older, he opened one of his eyes to see will looking down at him with a soft smile. he sighed in defeat, opening the other eye and rolling out of bed. will ruffled tommy's hair and left the room to allow the boy to get ready.

after the two of them had gotten ready, they ordered a taxi to the airport. on the ride there, tommy was biting his nails which was a habit of his when he was very anxious. will gently pulled tommy's fingers away from his mouth and put them onto the teenagers lap.

"i know you're nervous tommy" will sympathised. tommy looked over at will, "yeah well no shit" he whisper shouted.
"you're gonna be okay, i promise. i won't let anything happen to you" will promised. tommy looked into the older's chocolate brown eyes. they were always full of comfort.

the blond nervously bit his lower lip, "promise?" he croaked in a small voice. will's face softened, a now soft smile replacing his face genuine worry. "promise" he assured with a chuckle. tommy smiled a little and then cooled down his nerves. they soon arrived to the airport and went through security. soon they took a seat in the waiting area and waited for their plane.

after a long plane ride, tommy saw that they were and shook his older brother awake. will got out of his seat, tommy closely following behind him. once they got inside the airport, they got their luggage and soon enough they were in the pick up area.

"techno said that he's holding a big ass sign that says "here to pick up two nerds"" will informed, placing both of their passports away. tommy chuckled, looking around curiously for his friends. "is phil with him?" the blond questioned, going onto his tippy toes and straining his neck to look over the crowd.

"mhm and he said some other people" will replied, which made tommy go back to his normal height and look at will. his eyes showed obvious fear and seemed like he was about to burst into tears. will held onto tommy's hand and squeezed it reassuringly to let him know that he was by his side the whole time. the two of them looked over the crowd and soon saw very familiar faces. will lead tommy through the crowd to their group.
