as techno, dream and phil made their ways through the nether portal successfully, they all cheered. the mission to break dream out of prison had worked perfectly. techno's favour was now used and dream could continue having power over everyone. when the heat of the overwhelming amount of lava hit them like a truck in their face, dream knew that he was back.

the three started walking towards the portal to get them to techno's house, but were met with a familiar figure standing there going through the chests, "oh hello!" they greeted, turning around to look at the three men standing together.

"tommy...?" techno questioned, confused. what was tommy doing here of all places?

"hey technobalde, philza and" he greeted, looking at the man next to techno, "...and dream? aren't you supposed to be in prison?" he questioned hesitantly.

"no sam actually let me go out on a little walk" dream shrugged.

"shouldn't sam be with you?" tommy questioned.

"he is in lmanberg, just had to look for something" dream lied, looking between techno and phil.

"and techno and Phil decided to accompany you?" tommy questioned again. he felt so nervous. the boy felt as if he could throw up. techno and phil nodded quickly, "but why have you come in the nether? shouldn't you be frolicking around in the over world?" he raised an eyebrow.

"i can do what i want" dream said in a sassy tone. tommy put his hands up in a surrender. the three of them let out a sigh of relief, thinking that they had gotten away with this and swiftly walked past tommy.

"funny you say sams in lmanburg" tommy laughed.

"what do you mean?" phil questioned nervously.

"sam's actually at snowchester" he corrected.

"are you sure about that?" techno questioned after an exasperated sigh.

"yes! he left not too long ago, so very funny you say that" tommy pointed out. techno drew out his sword and pointed it towards tommy before slowly walking towards him. tommy put his hands up and a look of fear overcame him, "t-techno what are you doing?" tommy stuttered out, backing away slowly.

"what i should've done a long time ago" he muttered, and plunged the sword into tommy's stomach. the blond gasped, looking up at his brother with betrayal in his eyes. techno pulled the sword out and walked away. tommy clutched the spot and fell onto his knees.

he looked up the sword which had his blood slowly dripping down it and then up to techno. his lips curled into a sly smile, as his eyes flashed white. he pulled his hand away and slowly stood up.

"what the fuck?" phil muttered, watching as tommy's wound started to heal itself completely.

"you see techno, there you would've killed me!" tommy chuckled, rolling his shoulders back.

"that- that was the whole point" techno stuttered out in confusion.

"how are you alive?" dream questioned curiously. tommy pulled out a totem of undying from his inventory, the three men in front of him let out noises of awe.
