Hidden abilities and my Alpha mate

Chapter 7: doing research, its in the job description...

Ok this chapter is all about Matt and kisha, I wanted to put them in a chapter since I don't really have them. But now I do. So here you go guys. And thanks for reading.

Matt's POV:

After waking up next to my mate kisha, I knew that I would only smile if I get to wake up next to her for the rest of my life. She has so much energy that I'm surprised she can go to sleep at night. Once I got out of bed, being careful so I don't wake her up I went straight to get my laptop. I had to do some research for my alpha because he asked me to and I knew that if he tried to ask James, they would fight for a good amount of time before James did it.

Just as I pressed search my mate moved a little, feeling around the bed and looking for me... I think. So I took the pillow I slept on and pushed it toward her, once she found it she pulled it to her in a death grip that made me smile. And it only brought my thought back to last night. She is crazy energetic, but I still loved her.

-Flashback-

"Oh my gosh, your my mate, I finally found you! Or you found me! Well we found each other." She said with so much energy that the only thing I could think of was cover her mouth with my hand.

"Yes sweet heart, I'm your mate!" I told her smiling and shaking my head.

She just smiled and took my hand in hers, which got me nervous. I mean this girl I just met is holding my hand and has me wrapped around her tiny finger. Then I realized she was saying something but I didn't exactly hear her, then she slapped me... Hard.

"Sweet heart what was that for?" I asked as my cheek stung.

"Sorry, you just were so out of it. So I did the first thing that came to mind." She blushed a little.

"It's ok sweet heart. Just try and not do that again. Please!" I begged her not to hit me. But chuckled at the thought.

We just sat on her bed and talked about random things. Well she talked I listened answering whatever question she had in her cute little head. Once we had both run out of things to talk about, we decided that it was time to go to bed, that and she kept yawning causing me to yawn right after her. Once we were under the sheets and comfortable Blaze mind linked me asking me to do some research for him in the morning.

I spoke as if I had just been awoken, but in some weird way I guess I was. When we were done speaking he broke the link and I looked down to see my mates eyes flutter close. She is just beautiful when she sleeps and I love her. With that I cuddled up to her as she did the same and we fell asleep together. Just the perfect moment and I'm so glad it's with my one true love.

-end of flashback-

I hadn't noticed that she was awake until she went behind me and screamed, which had me flip backwards in the chair. When I managed to get up and turn around I saw amusement in her eyes and noticed that she was fully dressed and ready to brighten the day.

"You scared me half to death!" I almost screamed.

"I'm sorry, you just looked so cute and out of it." She told me with innocence.

"You couldn't have made some noise?" I asked her trying not to laugh.

"You said not to hit you again and this time you hit yourself!" She said with a shrug.

"Touché!" I told her with a smirk, planning my vengeance on my love.

She came up to me and sat on my lap and kissed me, just sitting in comfortable silence while I set off to work. She didn't mind though but through all my research I had found nothing. I was a little disappointed but I had looked, even in the human world there was nothing.but I wondered why Blaze wanted me to search for this. Once I had just about enough, I shut my laptop and looked down at my mate who was looking up at me with the most adorable eyes. I knew she wanted something so I asked.

"Yes sweet heart?" I asked with a chuckle.

"Can we go down now? I'm hungry." She said while holding her stomach for a more dramatic effect.

"Yes we can, sweet heart." I told her since I was feeling a bit hungry myself.

With that I sat her on the bed and told her she could go down if she wanted, but all she did was shake her head no. So she waited for me to get finished getting ready that way we could walk down together.

I know I should have just fought with her about it, but I knew I would have fought a losing fight. I loved this girl way too much to demand her to do something that wasn't necessary. I knew I would lose every fight. Once I was completely done she put her hand out for me to take, which I gladly did and started walking down with her. Once we reached the stairs the smell of breakfast reached my nose and my mate let go of my hand, as to run to the table like a five year old. She took one last glance with a puppy dog look that had me jogging to catch up with her and join the rest of our friends for breakfast.

Kisha's POV:

Waking up without my mate was a little disappointing. But when I finally got completely up I realized that he sat at my desk on his laptop. Well he looked like he was, I kissed his cheek as a good morning but he didn't move. It was like he was just thinking of something, oh well I thought with a shrug and went to do my morning routine. Shower, brush teeth, brush hair and look at my planner which had nothing planned for today.

Great more time with Matt, when I finished Matt was still in his dream like state so I went behind him and didn't hit him but I did scream the loudest that I could. I guess that got him out of it because he flipped backwards on the chair that had me biting my tongue so I didn't laugh. I'm sure you could have still seen it though.

"You scared me half to death!" He sounded like he was holding back, so I just smiled.

"Im Sorry you just looked so cute and out of it." I told him with an innocent look.

"You couldn't have made some noise?" He asked holding back his own laughs.

"You said not to hit you again and this time you hit yourself." I told him with a small shrug.

"Touché" he said know I had won this.

Then he turned back to do his research on stuff, while I just sat there in his lap in a comfortable silence. I loved being close to him I felt safe and protected, so I lay my head on his chest doubting he would notice, he had the cutest concentration face that made me just want to kiss him, but I held back. I saw that he was a little disappointed, but I'm guessing it was about whatever he was researching.

When he was finally done, he shut his laptop and looked at me and I was hoping that I had on the best puppy dogs eyes I could muster. I knew I had got him by the way his eyes lit up.

"Yes sweet heart?" He asked with the sweetest voice.

"Can we go down now? I'm hungry." I told him while clutching my tummy, hoping he'd say yes.

"Yes we can sweet heart!" He said knowing that he was hungry as well.

Then he picked me up and set me on the bed, telling me I could go down If I really wanted to but I shook my head no telling him I'd wait for him. So I just sat there kicking my legs back and forth getting more bored and hungry by the minute. Once I saw that he was done I got up and raised my hand for him to take, once he did I noticed that he got nervous as he led me to the kitchen.

Once we were close enough I could smell all the yummy food they put out and I let go of Matt's hand and ran to the entrance, when I stopped I looked behind me silently asking him to hurry, I knew he was trying to fight back but I also knew that he knew he would lose. Seeing my face he sighed a little but still visible and jogged to me so I could feed my hungry tummy with the rest of our friends.

Hey so this is their chapter. I am completely all out and running on fumes, so it's off to bed. Couldn't sleep so here it is... It may suck but yeah. I updated. Thanks for reading. :)
