Chapter 33: The Mourning, Get it? It's Punny

  ~Hey guys sorry if you don't like it, and if I have any incorrect stuffs in here, no jk I hope you guys enjoy this next chapter. I thought about this for a few hours if I should upload and decided I should, so here you go.

  James POV:

    I have never seen my mate so broken, she hasn't spoken to me since we heard Blaze scream. I don't know how he's taking this, just one thought of losing Lani and I know I would go insane. My alpha seems to be holding his own through this, like she's not even gone. "Hey, Love are you doing okay?" I asked slowly inching my way towards her as if she would attack. 

    "I miss her James, This isn't real,  no way its possible." She had a distant look in her eyes as if she was thinking it over. "Did you want anything? I could go and get you anything at the shop if you'd like?" I asked her trying to get her out of bed, but she just wouldn't budge. "No, James I just want to lay here. Please." with that she just turned her back to me and stayed silent, I could smell the tears on her face that bitter and salty smell that now lay on my mates face. 

 "I'll be just in the living room, if you need me please just scream." I turned to walk out the door not able to see my love cry any longer. Just as I shut the door, I saw Matt walking down the long hall with his head down. "How is she?" I just shook my head as a response. "How is keisha?" He just sighed like he didn't know what to do.

I knew by the look on his face that it wasn't any good."She wont eat or speak to me or anyone." I just nodded knowing exactly how he felt about the eating part. Lani didn't eat much since that night and it's already been a few days. "How is Blaze?" we both didn't realize that the death would hit him harder then anyone. so we decided to go and check how he was doing.

Just as we walked in the room a cold blast of air hit us full force. "Blaze? It's freezing in here. Ill turn down the A/C." Just as I was about to touch the controller my arm was yanked back and blackest of eyes met my own. "Don't. Touch. That. she'll get hot." Blaze let my arm go just to rush back and stroke his mate's hair as if she was asleep. "We should plan a funeral, say our farewells" I knew I would be getting a beating but he needed to hear it.

He ignored my suggestion, "Blaze?" I froze when he tensed up and slowly turned my way. "She is not going anywhere!" but me being the one to say another thing to an angry alpha. "Well, we could plan it in the Mourning... Get it?... It's punny." Only making myself smile a little, But a mateless alpha, is a broken alpha. I knew we had to do something to make him leave the room. "Get OUT!" with that tone Matt and I both scurried out of the room and toward the kitchen.

I had only just sat down when my mind began to replay all the past events. Realizing that it was just the beginning, but that's what saddens me the most. Both Matt and I would have to find a way to pull everyone back on their feet. Sounds crazy coming from me but I know that everyone needs this. We all need to just get up and try to recover from the lost of A best friend, A sister, A mate and OUR Luna.

Flashback~

Lani and I were sitting in the living room watching the television, while Matt and Kisha were sharing a bowl of ice cream. All of us in a comfortable silence just enjoying the company. "Hey lani, I think we should drag Cece down here so we could have a sleep over." She looked a little excited at the thought of them all just lounging around. "Yeah, I think it'll be good for her. She needs this." Just as the girls got up and towards the stairs we heard a scream coming from the top. 

That had all four of us running up and towards the Alphas wing. When we got there the door was open and we could hear Blaze mumbling softly into Cece's hair. "Blaze is everything ok?" I could smell the blood from the bathroom but didn't think any thing of it until the girl's stepped closer to Blaze. That just earned them a growl and the look on both of their faces was shock and horror, Lani and kisha both falling to the ground, just as they did blaze was lifted up and thrown against the wall.
