Chapter 24: turn for the worst... I think.

Raylani's pov:

"JAMES WHAT THE FUCK BALLS ARE YOU DOING?" I yelled furious when I saw him holding Luke by the ankle upside down. "What babe he loves it!" He told me having a scared look on his face, that's right he better be freaking scared. "AUNTIE LANI HELP!!! UNCLE JAMES HIT ME!!!" Poor little Luke yelled to be rescued. "What you lying little shi--." "Don't you dare finish that sentence! Let him go and if you drop him on the floor I will shove your face so far down the toilet we'd have to rename the swirly to James dunk. "Babe I didn't hit him I swear" I knew he didn't but why not scare him a little you know. "Just let him down right now." I told him knowing that he would listen. As slowly as he could he placed Luke down on his feet. And the moment Luke could run around he ran towards me hoping to get out of it so easily. "Whoa mister, what were you and uncle James doing, that you ended up that way?" He looked a little guilty when I asked him. "Nothing aunt Lani." He said looking at his feet and kicking the ground. "Go downstairs and get something to snack on, maybe you can go play with Travis and Alex yeah?" I told him seeing him cheer up a little. "Ok thank you." As he walked pass me he turned looked at James and stuck his tongue out and ran the rest of the way laughing.

I looked at James for the next ten minutes, while he just looked to the ground avoiding my eyes, "would you stop that Lani, I didn't hit Luke he just lied about it." He said with a sigh. "And how would I know that James, I leave to the bathroom for three minutes and I find you holding him by his legs!" I said as calmly as I could. "Technically I held him by the ankles." James stated as a matter of fact. "You are really not helping yourself you idiot." I told him just as I walked towards him. "Fine then whatever believe that little troublemaker." James said, "HE'S EXACTLY LIKE YOU THEN DIPSHIT!!" I yelled right in his face. "You look sexy when your angry babe." He told me and it had me stepping back, "oh no you don't James." I told him as I walked out the door and down to the kitchen. Just as I entered I ran into one of blaze's pack member. "Hello beta Lani." I looked at him and got this sense that I've seen him before somewhere. "Hi, I'm sorry I didn't catch your name." I told him just as I walked to the refrigerator, "my name is Chris and it's nice to have everyone home again." He said just as he walked away. And that had me wondering what in the hell did he mean by that. Am I missing something? I asked more to my wolf but she just sighed and went back to the back of my mind, so I just bruised it off as nothing to be concerned about now.
Maybe I should go and check on the girls since I'm still a little upset with James. The sad part is I can't seem to find those girls anywhere. "Damn it!" I cursed to myself. Really the time I need to talk with them and I can't find them. But I noticed the more I walked around the pack house, the more it looked familiar. Like I've been here before or maybe seen it in a dream or something. Now I really needed to talk to the girls. But first things first I need to make a phone call to E.J.

*phone call*

It took forever for one of the guys to answer the phone. Why the hell? Maybe they finally are doing something. I laughed to myself when someone finally answered. "Hello?" I heard a deep voice. "Hey Brad, how are things there?" I asked trying to make things go smooth. "Oh Lani... Things are great here but I can't talk right now. In the middle of something sort of important. Maybe you girls can come back and spend the weekend here." Brad tried to get off the phone too quickly. "Umm ok but tell EJ to give me a call back something seems familiar here." I told him and hung up. "Where is sh-" was all I heard when I clicked the phone to end. " what the hell was that all about?" I started to think.

The more I started to think the more my mind started to hurt and it irritated me even more. I looked into the kitchen and saw cece there with blaze and I just lost it and the kitchen towel caught fire. It alarmed blaze immediately and I knew I was in trouble by the look cece was giving me. I know we aren't suppose to expose ourselves because then it would bring up questions and suspicion. But the fire wouldn't go down, the more blaze tried to put it out the higher and hotter the fire got. So I knew cece put it out by collecting the moisture around to smother it. It was an accident and I know sometimes we can't control it. Cece, kisha and I really need to talk and soon, I just feel caged without using the power and it does not feel good. It's like the more we don't use it the more we tense up, start to hurt and get agitated. Cece said something to blaze and walked towards me. "We have to go into the forest don't tell them or they will never leave us be." I nodded knowing exactly what she meant, now all we need is kisha.

Matt's pov:

I was sitting down with kisha and we were laughing and having fun when she just tensed up. I knew it wasn't because one of the girls said something because then we all would have heard it, well at least blaze would have and then he would have informed us. But kisha just stopped and straightened her back, she looked and me and kissed me. "I have to go for a little, ill be right back." So she got up and rushed into the pack house like it was an emergency she was needed for. I walked in 20 minutes after she didn't come back and saw blaze in the kitchen and cece was missing as well. It's made me think a little. "Hey man where is cece?" I asked as I sat across him with an apple in my hand. "I don't know, she said shed be right back." I've been sitting here for about an hour. But something strange happened a while ago." He told me scrunching his brow in concentration. " oh? And what is that man?" I asked getting curious and leaning closer like it was a secret. "We'll a little earlier the kitchen towel caught fire... I mean literally just caught fire." He said making sure he didn't sound crazy. That made my suspicions grow, now I know I have to find out what is going on. "Ill look up some stuff for you boss, maybe I can find answers for you and feed my need of curiosity." I told Blaze with a new determination set for me to finish.

I went up to the second floor library to go and read up on some stuff when I heard whispering from the studio room. Who would be there I asked myself, I recognized the voices of the girls and my curiosity got the best of me. I walked in and saw them in a circle. The thing that stopped me from making any sound was the fact that they were in the air giggling and whispering like little girls speaking about the boys they have a crush on. Cece was in the air giggling at something Raylani said and kisha started rolling around in the air as if she were on the ground. The thing that amazed me was the slight glow a little below their right ear that stretched all the way to the right side of their backs. Only Ceces went so far to the left side. Raylani and kisha had the glow towards the middle and down their spines. And then I look closer and see that little dust particles were around Keisha as if she were surrounded by Air. Then I turn to Raylani and see redish-orange specks all around her like Fire. The I turn to cece last and she's holding the biggest smile and around her I see multiple things from the dust, to the red-orange, to blue, green and purple. And something passing between them or connecting them and they start to giggle again. I try to walk back without making noise but to my luck they hear me and all three of them turn towards me faster then any wolf I've seen and just as they stop giggling and stair at me kisha looks scared and then everything turns black. First thing I can think of is the girls are not just any wolf, and ordinary is just out of the question. But what are they and that was my last thought as I heard kisha calling for me and the girls calling for the pack doctor.
