CHAPTER 27: Into the Dark!

Elias POV:

So my little sister is gone and her two bestfriends somehow managed to dissapear... How in the hell did the guys want me to explain this to my pack? "You boys mean to tell me That not only is my baby sister missing... But her Friends who are also like sisters to me are missing too?" I asked with a raised brow. They did not respond to m question, knowing very well that I would try to kill them and Blaze is in no shape to back them up. "Im so sorry E, we turned our back to them for a minute and they were just gone. they were rambling on about knowing a way to get Cece back but that it would be very dangerous and that you wouldn't aprove and that we also wouldn't like it. At first I didnt know if we should tell you." James told me in a rushed but subtle breath. "Well at least you guys are being honest" Brad finally spoke up, I had almost forgot that he was in the room with us.

"So what do you think they were talking about?" Matt Had asked after a long period of silence. I didn't really know what to tell him because I, myself had no idea of what those girls had in mind. They have always been like this, even as children. I remember those three always coming up with new things to do or talk about. It always caught my attention of the trouble they'd get themselves into and the solutions they'd think up to get themselves out. Some more serious then other. Like that one from about 3 years ago those girls had caused such trouble and chaos I'm surprised the whole house didn't burn to the ground. But how they got out was just a miracle.

~FLASHBACK~

"So this concludes our annual Alpha meeting for the year" One of the high council said, finally informing us it was time to head home. The moment I got to the hotel I packed my bags and started to the airport to head home. Brad was to take care of the pack and property while I was away. He knew his duties and responsibilities, so I had nothing to worry about. I hoped, But to my surprise the moment I landed and got out of the plane My cell Had begun to ring. A phone call from Cece, "Hey EJ, Im so glad your back but please dont be mad." I started to get a really bad feeling about this. "Cece why in the hell would I be mad?" I asked her rushing to get a cab or something to take me home ... and fast. "Well EJ we could'nt find Brad and thepackhouseisonfineandwe'reinthemiddleofit" She said the last sentence in one breath. I nearly choked on my spit, "THE PACK HOUSE IS ON WHAT AND YOU GUYS ARE WHAT????" I pretty much yelled into the phone. Without a second thought I dropped my bags and found the nearest forest and shifted hoping no one had seen. I just ran and ran until I was at the house.

Before I even got close I had already smelled the smoke. By the time I got there I saw bra and everyone that lived in the pack house outside waiting for the fire department... Everyone but Cecce, Lani and Kisha. "BRAD WHERE THE HELL ARE THE GIRLS???" I yelled in his face, He looked at me in shock and started pointing around seeing that they were no where around or in the crowd. "YEAH DUMB SHOT THEY ARE STILL IN THE HOUSE,!" I yelled back at his face. "YOU LEFT THE THREE MOST IMPORTANT GIRLS IN THE DAMN FIRE!" Brad fell to his knees and started crying uncontrollably, I didn't know weather tofeel sorry for him or comfort him, he is my brother after all. Before I could rush in I heard Cece yell from within the flames as if she knew I was about to jup the wall of fire blocking the doorway. "Ej don't you dare do something that stupid!" I was about to answer when I saw her face in the flames. Right across from the place that I stood. "But how will you three get out of there? Please girls let me get you out." I was about to break down in tears thinking my little sister didn't waant to be saved and rather die in a fire. "Ej don't be dumb we can get out of here. trust me." I heard her say and with that I did and stood back watching as the flames grew and grew not once hearing any voices or screams. But just like that the flames were gone and Cece, kisha and Lani just walked out like nothing had happend. It was like no fire had started and the smoke didnt effect them. On closer observation I didn't see any marks or burns on their bodies and I was utterly shocked.

To this day those girls still tell me It was all just a dream. But I know in my heart that, that was not a dream, I just let it go and let the girls fend for themselves when they don't call for me. The times that they do call for me, If I don't get there first Brad is and ready to fight. But since that day I could feel it in my bones that the girls can so extraordinary things. I dont doubt that they will find a way to get out of what they are in or send a message for help.

Cece POV:

It's so cold, It's always so cold... WHy am I here what did I do and how the hell do I get home? Those words lingered around me like the smell or Brad's awful cooking. I just want to go home. Its dark and things here have minds of their own. The movement and the creatures in here are so gruesome, they are nothing but scavengers. Eating on the dead hopes of wanting to return home. I wonder if this is what dying really is. or if this place is just another limbo? maybe its just a bad dream and i'll wake up soon. I dont know, im probably getting my hopes up. I've been trapped here for who knows how long. In the dark you forget the time and the day and its just you and the dark. nothing else matters because you have to kill to survive and get out. Then I heard it again, I running foot steps. This time they came to a stop not to far in front of me, it was too dark to see in front of you or even your own hands. You had to rely on your ears to guide you through and it was the only thing you could trust to save your life. Then I heard Kisha's voise, then Raylani, I knew it was just the dark messing with my head again. But I would not be fooled twice and this time I will kill it, maybe I can get home. The moment the pair of footsteps were together I jumped into the air and pushed them apart. going after the first one I dropped to the ground and heard the scream, I knew it was female and sounded a lot like kisha. Then when I went to the second one I hit her at the back of her head and saw her eyes flutter as just a little light behind them started to glow. I saw that it wasn't the dark It really was Kisha and Lani. My mark started to glow along with their own connecting us again and filling us with the feeling of warmth and security. But boy was I in deep crap. They are so going to be pissed when they wake up. The only words I could utter were "UH OH"

I got them into my make shift home and layed them down as comfy as I could. I hope they aren't too mad or at least don't remember. Maybe if they don't remember I just wont tell them. No that would be stupid, I can't lie to them. I guess Im just going to have to wing it as soon as I hear some curse word about why their heads are killing them. Then I heard the groan. and the moans of my two bestfriends (who I just knocked out) wake up. "What the fuck just happened?" I heard Lani curse and then waited for kisha. "Owie... Lani your language and i have a headache!" I finally heard kisha and spoke up/ "Hey guys!" I said and the glow from our Marks got brighter with our surprise and excitment. They both turned their heads to me and gasped "CECE!"
