Chapter 26: So this is being dead?

Kisha pov:

              Often many times I wondered what goes on in Ceces brain, and now that I get to see it I don't think I want it anymore. Not at this expense, she is losing life and Blaze is losing his mind. First phase of losing your mate, denial and then you get numb. No feelings for anything, not even family. Second you start to snap and turn against everyone who tells you its over, then finally acceptance you finally take your own life. I dont want to lose either of them and I know matt doesnt either, but How do I help if I dont even know how to decode ceces mind? I'm stuck between my bestfriend and doing something so drastic that may leave MY own mate... "MATELESS"

           I knew what had to be done, but in order to do it Lani and I would have to see which one of us would go through with the plan. We both knew that it would be risky to enter Cece's mind because both of us didn't know what to expect. We have only ever done this once and even with that Cece was with us on the outside. We entered our friends mind just to try and advance our abilities, He was asleep but it worked... Barely. I don't even know if Lani will agree to do it this time, I know how Lani is with the consequences. But I hope she understands that we have to do this in order to save cece. To enter the mind of another is like taking a four day long hike around an active volcano that is about to erupt. It's dangerous and can make anyone lose their mind. But the only way to see if we can do this is to try, and the only way to do that is to get Lani to agree. Hopefully she will agree to help me and we can get cece back.

Lani's pov:

        Sitting in my room just trying to figure out a way to help Blaze get Cece back. It's hard to think of ways to get her back if I don't even know where or what state of mind she's in... Literally. I don't even know how to start to even try to get her back. I have gone through all the books and scriptures in that old dusty library and not one of them has even gotten me close to a solution. I have tried to call some friends to see if they have heard of anything like this happening, but none so far. I've tried to call even just to get a simple answer, no one can help us. I was just about to call another one of our friends to try and see if I can get another number to someone who might know how to help when Kisha walked into the library, she looked just as distraught as I did. "Kisha did you find anything that can we can use?" She replied with just a shake of her head. "Maybe we can use one of the methods that granddad taught us." But Kisha just looked deep in thought, like she was coming up with a plan of her own. But I know that I will be involved. I just wanted to get cece back and I knew it would be risky and that our mates wouldn't let us but we have to try. "Kisha we have to do it." I told her, all she could do was nod in agreement. The both of us knew we had to do this and we had to do it without her older brothers finding out about what we were about to do. Because if they did we would never be able to go through with it. we were about to enter cece's mind, but in order to do that we would have to unlock her soul and enter it ourselves. Kisha and I were getting everything set to go, when we heard our mates walking towards the door. they must have heard us rush because then we heard thundering footsteps running toward the doors. its a good thing we locked the doors, then they started banging on the door. We couldn't let them stop us or join, it was too risky just kasha and I we were already at risk of getting lost forever. just as we were about to jump into the spirits the door broke down and in cam james and matt. Kisha knew it was now or never, they ran towards us but were too late we were already gone.

    I woke up in the darkest place I have ever seen, but couldn't find Kisha anywhere. I heard her calling out my name but I just couldn't see her. its like we  were on two opposite sides of the same darkness that surrounded us. Cece must be really out of it, this darkness was suffocating and depressing. the kind of darkness that sucks the life out of you, Just as I was about to turn around, I bumped into something or someone. "Who are you?" I asked with a shaky voice. "Lani? its me Kisha. Oh God I am so terrified right now" I heard her voice quiver. Then the sound of something breaking echoed around us. If this is what Cece is stuck in then we have to get her out of it. It will only kill her and her wolf is probably weak. Just as Kisha and I started to move something came at us full charge and knocked both of us to the ground then feeling this really sharp pain at my rib cage then another on my left leg and then a third to my face, the last thing I remember before I blacked out was the scream of Kisha and Cece's voice.
