Chapter 39: Old Times

A Day After Last Chapter

Mito sat on a rock, thinking about her past. She could only remember up to when she was five, like a normal child. Her training had started that year, and she learned many of the basics, such as tree jumping and chakra control. By age eight, she was better than a genin. It was also that age that she had returned to the village, having met Naruto in the process. Two years later, she was being taught more complex ninja stuff, as the two years after her mother had been pregnant and had Naruko, so Mito was taught by Naruto. She remembered one particular event that the author forgot to put in.

Flashback to when Mito and Naruto were 8

Mito was taking a walk, thinking about what she was going to do for training now that her mom and dad had to take care of her coming sister when she was suddenly grabbed. She looked up and saw two men with jonin vests on and Iwagakure headbands before she was forced into a bag. As she was secretly pulled throughout the village, she cried silent tears. After a bit, she heard them stop. "She has the red hair of the Uzumaki clan, so if we take her back and rape her and force her to bear children with us, we can raise a powerful army of chakra monsters!" One of the guys said. The other guy let out a greedy little growl, "Let me get that piece of meat for myself first," He said. Suddenly, Mito heard a stop to them talking and felt herself drop, before feeling many things happening around her.

Naruto had just come back from a mission when he saw two men in Iwagakure jonin vests rooftop jumping, so he followed them. He followed them with his chakra masked until the two landed in a clearing, talking about rape. Naruto let out a faint growl, causing the two to cease their talking. Naruto tossed a kunai in their direction, intent on killing them in an instant. The two raised their kunai, blocking strikes to the neck and stomach, which would have left them to die excruciatingly. Naruto immediately followed by tossing two kunai at each of their foreheads, only for the clang of metal against metal to sound out. Naruto then somersaulted in the air, effectively but funnily dodging twelve kunai coming at him. Naruto then tossed a couple more kunai. "Fire style, burning headache!" Naruto yelled. A burst of fire about half the size of the searing migraine shot at the two Kumo nin, killing one of them. The other Kumo nin let out a yell of anger before charging at Naruto, who jumped over him and stabbed his back, before shunshinning away. The Kumo nin pulled out the kunai and grunted, before tossing it off to the side. He then hurled a giant shuriken at Naruto, who merely glanced at it and activated his Sharingan, which was hardly visible in the light. He used the Kamui and made the shuriken disappear before using the Kamui to launch it back at the Kumo shinobi, killing him instantly. Naruto then saw the bag and opened it, before gently lifting Mito out of it. He started tree jumping home with Mito in his arms. He looked down and smiled at her, and she gently smiled back, before burying her neck in his chest.

Mito was sitting on the rock, legs dangling and remembering that certain memory. Suddenly, Naruto shunshinned into the clearing. "Mito, you ready?" Naruto asked. Mito nodded. "Good, because we're going, so get packing. There's another bounty spot a bit ahead, we can exchange the past year's worth of money, which should have risen to about three billion yen total," Naruto told her. "PERFECT!" Mito yelled as she sprang up from her spot on the rock. Satsuki landed in front of the two. "Let's go, guys!" Satsuki said with a grin.
