We could be wild, we could be free
We can be anything in life we wanna be
We could move mountains
We can break walls
We can stand tall enough to fight and never fall

We could be legends after all-Sleeping With Sirens

Tanner POV

I nearly fell out of bed as Legends by Sleeping With Sirens blasted from my phone and the barely rising sun blinded me through the window.

I fumbled for my phone and looked at the screen. I rolled my eyes. Of course it was Mary. She must have given herself a ringtone in my contacts when I wasn't paying attention the last time we hung out. Ever since we became such good friends on Cobra Kai, she loved doing stuff like this to me.

"Who is calling so early on a saturday morning?" Mia mumbled groggily.

"It's Mary." I answered, showing her the screen.

"What? Why is she calling?" Mia wondered sleepily.

"Marrrryyyy," I whined after putting the phone to my ear. "What do you want? Even I don't wake up this early."

"Where are you? I went by your house and you're not there." She said.

"I'm at Mia's. Why did you go by my house?" I asked suspiciously.

"Oooohh, you spent the night at Mia's last night?" Mary teased.

"No-I mean yes but-look it's not like that. I just came over here to comfort her because she was sad okay?" I sputtered, caught off guard.

"Okay," she said sarcastically, giggling.

"Alright, moving on! Seriously, Mary, what do you want?" I asked again.

"Oh, right! I'm coming to get you guys and we are all going out to hang out for the day!" She exclaimed exclaimed happily.

I groaned. I was generally the stay at home type so going out for a girls day did not sound especially fun. Plus, I had something to do for Mia today...

Mary heard me and laughed. "Oh stop it, you'll be fine. You need to get out more. Plus Xolo is with me already so you won't be the only guy."

"We're on our way, buddy and you know I'll come in and throw your ass in the car so you might as well just go with it." Xolo's voice taunted me from the other end of the call.

"Like you'd stand a chance," I chuckled.

Mia apparently heard this part of the conversation and grabbed my phone.

"Xolo Mariduena, if you come in my house and wake up my kid and my roommates kid, I'll shave your head in your sleep." She threatened.

"Damn, Mama bear over there is savage. Well, be ready then because like I said, we're on our way." Xolo replied, laughing.

"Fine, but you guys owe us coffee for this." Mia told them after I shrugged in defeat.

"Don't worry, we're going out for breakfast as soon as we pick you up!" Mary promised.

We heard her and Xolo giggling as they yelled bye and ended the call.

"I'm gonna kill them," Mia groaned, tossing my phone onto her bed.

"I'll help. But we'll do that later." I said, chuckling and getting up.

Mia POV

I went to the bathroom while Tanner got dressed, then he went to wait for me in the living room.
