Kabanata 14:
RegistrationIsabella Danisse's Point of View
A week later and everything is running smoothly. The first week was wonderful and I'm looking forward to the following weeks.
Today, we are required to wear our university's complete uniform which is a pair of plain black long socks, a short black plaid skirt that is above my knee, a white tee-shirt together with a black tie, and a black blazer with the university's logo on the right side.
All of my uniforms are ironed and clean. I tucked my tee-shirt in my skirt as I tie my necktie. I then put on my blazer and my school ID. I just let my hair down because I'm not into tying my hair in the morning. I wore my high-heeled black shoes. Well, we can use high heeled shoes as long as it is black.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, we will be going to use university's uniform, Tuesday is our course's uniform. Every college department has its designated uniform. And on Thursday, we are required to wear our PE Uniform.
I also applied light make-up and stared at the reflection of my whole body in my full-length mirror. When I got contented with my look, I get my bag and came out of my room. I made my way downstairs and into the dining hall.
They smiled at me as I greeted them and kissed their cheeks.
"Good morning, princess. How's your sleep?" Daddy asked.
"Good, Daddy. I slept well," I replied while smiling and he just nodded at me. They prepared a French Toast, Egg Omelette, Egg Benedict, Pancakes, Waffles, and a Hot Chocolate for me.
We prayed first before started eating like we always do. Maple syrup is the best with pancakes. I poured a bit of maple syrup on top of my pancake and get a piece of strawberry.
I then brushed my teeth before applying make-up again.
"Sure, sweetie. Take care, we love you."
"I love you both too," I replied before reaching for my bag and hang it on my left arm. Well, it's a handbag.
I bid my goodbyes to my parents before storming out of the hall.
I smiled when I read Luis' text message.
From Love:
Good morning, my love. I'm already here outside. Take your time, I'll be waiting.
Luis didn't fail to make my heart pound like this. I purse my lips and immediately type a reply.
To Love:
Morning too, love. I'm on my way out, wait for me.
I continued walking until I reached the main door. A housemaid opens it for me and I just smiled while thanking her.
