Yo didn't know what his father and Pha had finally decided to do with Park, nor did he want to know. He had no wish to think about the creepy feral anymore than he already had. Now, he was completely focused on the small lives growing inside him. Even though the pack healer was able to tell him he was pregnant so soon, she wasn't able to tell him how many he and Pha were having. They'd have to wait until Yo was further along before having an ultrasound done.
Yo caressed the small bump, being careful that no one saw him. They were back on campus until the Snow Moon, then Pha would be taking him back to the pack grounds for the second claiming. Unlike wolves, cats didn't have a traditional place for their claiming. They could claim their mates in a hotel room, in the backseat of a car, or even in an alleyway if they so chose.
Pha was more than pleased when Yo stated his intentions of claiming Pha at the pack grounds. James and Lily were happy for the two, and even offered to order all the wolves away from the woods until the claiming was over.
But Yo wasn't the only cat claiming a wolf during the Snow Moon. Kit would be completing the bond between himself and Ming that night, too.
"E'Yo," Montree lightly nudged his arm, bringing the cat out of his thoughts. "Class is over."
"Okay," Yo sighed. He got to his feet and followed his friends out the door.
Ever since the attack and kidnapping two weeks ago, the Fairy Angels were sticking to his side like glue, not even letting Yo go to the restroom by himself. He didn't mind them being his impromptu bodyguards. They were a million times better than the actual bodyguards his father had wanted to assign to Yo, escorting him everywhere, even while he was with Pha! Of course, Yo put his foot down on that. No way did he want bodyguards watching is every move while he was with his mate! Ugh...
"I have to go meet Ai'Good," Montree said reluctantly, glancing over at Yo with a worried look. "Will you be okay with the other girls?"
"I'll be fine," Yo gave him a reassuring smile. "Cake and Fatty won't let anything happen to me. And the twins will karate chop anyone who comes within five feet of me."
"Make it six feet," Montree told the twins.
They mock saluted Montree. "Yes, general!"
Montree rolled his eyes and hurried off to meet Good, a bunny alpha who was courting Montree.
"When are they claiming each other again?" Yo mused aloud.
Cake shrugged, scratching an itch on her arm. "No idea. What moon do bunnies claim each other during?"
They both turned to look at Red, who was busy scribbling something on a notepad. She looked up and blinked at them. "Huh?"
"What moon do bunnies claim each other on?"
"The Hare Moon, or Pink Moon, in April. Why?"
Yo cocked his head. "Why the Pink Moon?"
"Because April is the beginning of spring, and that's when bunnies always claim their mates. Hares, too."
Cake frowned. "But why does your moon have more than one name?"
Red raised an eyebrow at her. "Um...all the moons have more than one name. Each country calls them what they want. What does the name matter when it's really the time of year that is important? Aish."
The twins piped up with, "The Hunter's Moon is when our kind claims their mates."
Yo turned to them in curiosity. "The Hunter's Moon?"
