Kit had to make sure he didn't lose his grip on Ming's hand as they walked back to the cavern Ming had claimed him in last month. The second year med student couldn't remember where the place was, since he'd been exhausted from the hours of lovemaking after being given the claiming bite. He smiled to himself when they finally found the waterfall and cavern. Now that they weren't a part of the Chase, it took a little longer to reach the waterfall. Kit walked inside first, looking around for anything to put together for a semi-comfortable bed so he could claim Ming, and found a pile of neatly folded blankets near the back. He looked back at the alpha in bewilderment.
"I brought those out here earlier," Ming admitted, looking away shyly. "I felt bad that you got cold during the Wolf Moon, so-"
Kit cut him off with a sweet kiss. "Thank you. Using blankets will be nicer than lying on the dirt this time."
Ming watched his mate with a smile as the other arranged the blankets into a cozy little nest for the two of them. He cocked his head, curious about why Kit was being so picky about the way the blankets lay. Did it really matter? After all, they'd be all messed up in the end after the two shifters rolled around in them.
"Ready!" Kit smiled at Ming from his position, kneeling in the center of the nest he'd made.
Ming sat cross-legged in front of Kit. This was the cat's night, and Ming knew the other was calling the shots. Ming had had his way during the Wolf Moon. It was Kit's turn.
Kit's eyes flicked around nervously. He'd never taken control before, not with Ming. Sure, he and his ex-girlfriend, a beta, had conformed to stereotypical gender roles, with Kit on top when they made love a few times, but this was different. Kit was an omega now, and it was going against his instincts to be the aggressive partner during sex. He swallowed, trying to wet his dry throat, and leaned forward to press his lips to Ming's, hoping he wasn't making a fool of himself.
The nerves were getting to him, making his hands tremble enough for Ming to feel it. Ming pulled back, eyes searching Kit's. He wouldn't let his mate look away.
"What's wrong?"
Kit blinked back tears of frustration. "I'm nervous, Ming! I've never taken the initiative during our times together, and I'm not even sure I know how!"
"Sure you do," Ming kissed the tip of Kit's nose. "Just go with whatever you're feeling, KitKat. Nothing you do will be wrong. And if I don't like it, I'll tell you, just like I have you do. Okay?"
Kit sucked in a deep breath, slowly letting it out. "I-I'll try..."
He must've done something right, pushing Ming down on the blankets all of a sudden like that. Ming stared up at him in surprised arousal. Kit stared back...then leaned in and kissed the alpha's neck, copying what he liked that Ming did to him. He was rewarded with a soft rumble of approval. Kit tentatively licked his mate's neck, moving down and gently sucking at the rapid pulse point, lovingly nibbling and licking it until it turned a deep red. Kit was proud of himself. It was sure to bruise, his first mark on Ming!
This wasn't so hard.
Kit felt the nerves melt away as Ming responded to his ministrations, and proceeded to undress them both in anticipation of what was to come. He made a face for a moment when he realized his body was already prepared to receive Ming, and sat up, straddling Ming's hips. Locking eyes with his dazed mate, Kit lifted himself up, and slowly set himself back down, head falling back and a small sigh of pleasure slipping from his mouth as he took in every inch of his alpha's cock.
"Kit..." Ming groaned, hands kneading the omega's hips. "Fuck...you feel so good."
"So do you," Kit teased. He tortured his mate by going at a tortoise pace, keeping their orgasms far at bay.
