Alyaneniah's P.O.V:
"Alya, Alya, Alya. Can we go into town today and play?" Zac asks.
"No Zac. Remember what happened last time we snuck out of the orphanage?" I ask him.
"Awwww, c'mon Sis. Pleaseeeee, pleasseeee, pretty pleaseee with Pharaoh on top?" He begs with puppy dog eyes.
Dammit, why the puppy dog eyes?! I always fall for them.
I groan outload and Zac cheers knowing i'm going to cave.
"Alright, fine. But we have to go get Levi."
"Yes! Hurry up Alya, you slow poke. I wanna go nowww." Zac yells running away to find Levi.
I laugh at him.
"Cominggg." I yell back, running after him.
A few seconds later we clash into Levi.
"Woah, woah. Settle down there guys, hahaha. Why are you guys in such a rush?" Levi asks rather amused by our sudden actions.
I blurt out words before Zac had a chance.
"Zac, wants to go 'play in the bighouse' today." I tell Levi using our secret codeword for sneaking out.
"Oh." Is all he says. "Are you guys sure? Remember what happened last time?" Levi asks quietly and cautiously.
The question was directed towards me and my gaze falls to the ground. How could i forget? They made me feel terrible and in pain for almost a whole week!
"Yeah. It's worth it." I reply.
It's true though. The beatings and punishments were worth handelling when this little outing made Zac so happy. It's all i could do in my power to make him feel free and wanted. The orphanage was not somewhere i liked to grow up. I don't want him to be like us. I want him to go somewhere better. Somewhere where he can do something with his life. He doesn't deserve this life. Levi and Zac deserve a family that will love them like no other. They deserve to be happy.
"Let's go then." Levi says.
He leads us out and we sprint through our secret path.
~ten minutes later~
We all are huffing and puffing. We did a straight out sprint for 10 minutes.
"Ouuu music. Let's dance." Zac says.
I greedily take a few more gulps of air then straighten up. I looked around and saw the town was just the same as the last time we came but abit more lively.
"Okay, okay." I say.
The boys drag me to the middle and we all start dancing. Soon enough the boys stop and part away to cheer me on. I laugh and continue with a smile on my face. I was so happy and free. A crowd started to form and i smiled more. Soon enough the crowd parted and gasps were heard all around. I kept dancing until i turned and noticed why everyone stopped. THE PHAROAH'S BROTHER. Lucius Precaira. He sat their on his horse with a couple of guards and three boys. They were all on horses. They looked just abit older then me.
"MOVE OUT OF THE WAY FOR PRECAIRA!" A gaurd shouted.
Everyone obediantly moved however i stood stock still. I was frozen in place and couldn't move. It's like my whole body just shut down.
"I said MOVE little peasant. Did you not hear me?" He questioned.
"I-i'm sorry. I-i didn't. I'm sorry." I apologized and ducked my head.
