Chapter 7 ~ Can you hear me screaming? "Please don't leave me!"

~Tommy's POV~

I watched Dad gently lay Will down on the couch.. I couldn't stop my arms shaking..

"Dad..?" I mumbled, my voice sounding scratchier.. I watched as he turned around and noticed me.

"S-Son!" He slowly sat down by my side, raised his hand...

...

and placed it on my cheek shakily, "I'm so sorry.. I'm so sorry I couldn't come earlier.."

I flinched up and began to panic. My brain started hallucinating again..

"How are you Tommy?" I knew it was Dad talking but.. I only saw Dream..

Was it Dad though..?

"G-Good Dre-Dad.. H-How about you..?" I said shakily as I cursed myself out for almost saying Dream..

"Toms are you alright..?"

This wasn't Dad..

It was just a nightmare..

~Phil's POV~

I looked at Tommy worriedly.. He was flinching away from me and stumbling over his words.

"Tommy..? You there bud?" I reached my hand into my pocket as his eyes followed my arms movement. As I went to pull out a gapple for him, his eyes went wide.

"I-Im sorry Dream p-please forgive me! I'll d-do whatever y-you need.. J-just d-dont g-get rid of my s-stuff.. a-again.." He stumbled over his words as he held my arm, keeping my hand in my pocket..

"Tommy.. Where are you?" I asked worriedly.. Nothing hurt more as a father than to see your children in pain..

Wilbur and Fundy had also noticed Tommy by now.. Fundy moved over to his side and well.. Will went to try to walk towards us however, could only shift to sit up in the chair.

Where was Techno..?

"I-Is it h-happening a-again..?" Tom shakily said looking at me slowly..

"Is what happening?" I replied, confused

"A-Am I hallucinating...?.. Techno.. Techno! He can prove whether o-or not I a-am" Tommy shakily looked around..

I look at him sadly... Dream had broken him to the point where he no longer believed he would be able to leave.. So now he hallucinated that he was still there when he does get to leave..

"Technoblade! P-Please!!" He pressed his hands onto his ears tightly.. "I-I'm sorry! Please tell me y-you haven't l-left me too!! I DON'T WANT TO BE STUCK WITH DREAM ANYMORE BROTHER! PLEASE PRIME TELL ME I DIDN'T DREAM LEAVING!!"

None of us knew what to do.. Until Techno shakily ran back him, sword in hand.

"W-What happene- Oh toms.." He spotted Tommy, with his knees tucked to his chest, his arms wrapped around them and his face hidden, mumbling 'I'm sorry Dream' over and over..

"What's happening Tech..?" I asked, worry dripping from my words.

"He keeps hallucinating.. Tommy keeps believing that he had dreamed leaving Logstedshire.. So.. he doesn't believe were real.. Don't worry, It took me a freak out or two until Toms believed I was real Dad.. He'll recognize you.. You just gotta be patient with him" He smiled sadly towards us all..
