~Fundy's POV~
... It was quiet.. Too quiet. I looked around desperately, spinning round in the void looking for something.. anything.. but the only response I got was the darkness staring back at me.. Deep into my soul. A shudder crawled it's way up my spine as I tried to become more aware of my surroundings.
Where was I?.. Was I awake?
Suddenly the darkness dissapeared as a blinding light invaded my vision.
".. Un-.. Tommy?" I sat up off the damp ground.. Did i really fall asleep on the grass? I didn't remember that.. Did no one think to move me?
Infront of me was Tommy. I shakily stood up.. however, as I regained my balance.. I saw it.
L'manberg.
...
The sky turned black with smoke as the clouds began to sob from the loss of another nation. My hands slowly made there way to my mouth as tears pricked my eyes.. It.. It was gone.
My legs shakily forced my body to makes its way next to my uncle.. My home was gone.. Everything I'd worked so hard to rebuild.. The nation we had worked so hard to revive.
"It's beautiful isn't it..?" He said raspily.. His voice sounded.. tired.
I began to inspect his face.. The bags under his eyes were.. scarily noticeable.. He looked like he could keel over there and then and fall asleep for months. Like he.. he was tired of life.
Pity evident in my eyes, I looked away and began to inspect the crater.. Everyone was trying save anything and anyone they could.. Phil was pulling Techno from under some rubble, whilst being face to face with a wither.. Niki was trying her best to stand her ground against the grey skulled monsters.. Shrieking filled the air..
Ghostbur trained his gaze on tommy, holding an umbrella over his head. The screaming creatures seemed to pay him no mind. Tears streamed down his face as smoke ascended from the tracks they left, his expression was a mix of emotions.. I couldn't pinpoint it exactly but it seemed like a mix of betrayal, sadness and anger..
Tubbo knelt on the grass quietly as Quackity tried to pull him away, the task proving harder than first imagined.
This was chaos..
He breathed in slowly and sighed, making eye contact with me, "MY L'MANBERG FUNDY!" My eyes widened, "It was Wilbur's great, unfinished symphony, but I finished it for him! I MADE IT MY OWN!"
....
A maniacal smile paired with teary eyes walked closer to the cliff edge.. Had he completely lost it..?
"DON'T YOU SEE! WILBUR WAS RIGHT! IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE!!" Tommy's laughter seemed to silence the people's panicked shouts as they looked up towards him, some with truly pissed off looks, some with saddened faces, others confused.. a flurry of emotions.. The only noise being left being the ghast like screeches and shooting noises as they payed no regard for what Tommy had to say.
".. L'manberg was ours.. Then it was taken from me.. I was written out of their fucking narrative. BUT GUESS WHAT! I PUT MYSELF BACK IN THE STORY!!" He continued to shout as he kept eye contact with Tubbo.
".. Well, I think that was good enough of a statement, hm?" Tommy seemed to switch as if he were bipolar, now smiling at me calmly and dragging his gaze away.
Worry was still evident in his voice but his face now told a different story.. Tommy had been betrayed.. Time and time again. Exiled, beat, shoved away..
