Because they love each other

Taiju sighed as he made his way into his living. Just as he opened his beer to take a sip he halted.

"For fucks sake," he groaned seeing none other than Cassidy. Koko and Inupi are at the doors just in case.

"Hello Taiju," she smiles at him only making him scowl more. The lavender haired girl sets down her tea.

"Are you finally ready to talk?" He ignores her walking over to the cabinet looking for something stronger than a beer.

"Still ignoring me? You do realize that I might be here for a while?" The young adult clutches the glass cup that's in his hand then pours himself something. Cassidy frowns. Suddenly the liquor disappears. Taiju turns around ready to yell at her when he sees she's gone. His eyes widen for a second and he turns around gasping when he sees her beside the cabinet.

"Fuck! What the heck!?" He yells. Cassidy frowns more at him.

"I'm only asking you for a moment Taiju, 30 minutes," the tall male groans dragging his feet to the couch. Cassidy smiles and follows after him. She sits before him cupping her hands.

"Make it quick," he grumbles. She hums.

"How have you been?" He looks at her with a surprised look but it's soon replaced by his angry facade.

"You called me for that!?" He asks. She nods. Cassidy is one of the rare people that is unfazed by this man's presence. Taiju bites the inside of his cheek as he looks away with a scoff.

"Good," he quietly replies. She smiled in response.

"Do you want to talk about anything?" He glanced at her then behind him at the two bodyguards. He looks away once more. Cassidy catches on and looks at Kokonoi.

"Koko, Inupi, can you please leave for a few?" The two look concerned.

"Are you sure this is okay?" Inupi asks. He seems wary. Considering this is Taiju Shiba that they're talking about. What's more he have a very bad feeling about leaving the two alone.

"Leave, this has nothing to do with you guys," Taiju says clenching the sides of the couch.

"But-"

"Alright then," Koko said as he dragged the still reluctant Inupi out.
Koko and Inupi decide to take a walk around the block.

"Do you trust her?" Koko glances at his friend.

"Who boss?" Inupi looks at him.

"No, that girl, Hatsune Cassidy," Koko chuckles.

"Difficult not to when all she ever did is look after the boss," Inupi looks at him in shock.

"What! Really?" Koko hums.

"So they've known each other for that long huh? But why exactly does she do this?" Inupi asks.

"Because she likes him," the blonde's head snaps up.

"What?!" He says earning a few looks as a laugh from Koko.

"C'mon Inupi I thought you were smarter than that!" He says. The latter rolls his eyes then turns serious again.

"But still, and to think the boss is so impassive around her too," he says.

"Yeah, they used to be middle school sweat hearts so," Inupi is once more surprised. He would've never pegged his boss as the loving type.

"Then there's nothing to be worried about," he says with a smile. Koko shakes his head fastening his pace.

"On the contrary, we have to hurry, because the boss is not only very bad at expressing his emotions," his eyes grow cold.

"But also very dangerous when he feels vulnerable, which only Cassidy can make him feel," Inupi nods walking faster too. As they walked Inupi suddenly stopped. Koko halted too looking at his friend in confusion.

"What's wrong?" Inupi's eyes were wide then confused and wary.

"I don't know, I thought, I thought I heard my sister's voice," Kokonoi frowns.

"Don't be stupid, let's hurry," he says walking off hiding the shock inside. Inupi takes a few looks around then goes ahead.

"Sarah-san," the sixth squad captain turned to her vice with a hum. Ryuki looks at her through her bangs that hide her eyes. Sarah Guetera smiles at her.

"What are you smiling about?" She asks. She can tell her captain is smiling dispite being blind. Sarah looks back at the two Black Dragons members who ran off. She kept her eyes on Inupi before they snapped to Koko turning blue instead of her usual brown ones. She smiled softly at the brunette then sighed.

"Sarah-san," she glances at her friend. Ryuki sighs.

"You know you can't go back," Sarah's smile falls.

"Don't be a party pooper Ryu, I'm having a moment," she mutters in a sad tone. She watches from afar as the two disappear.

"Why not start interacting then?" She asks. Sarah shakes her head.

"Not now, but I'm glad they're both okay," she says. There's a moment of silence. Ryuki sighs again jumping out of the tree and onto the ground. Sarah sighs following her.

"Come on, the meeting is about to start,"
