I'm right here

Ashton drove me home.
The boys claimed they had to "clean the house." Obviously I didn't believe them.
"So do you want to come in?" I asked Ash when we pulled up in front of my house.
"If you want but I don't think your parents like me very much."
"Come on."
I get out of the car and Ashton follows.
We walk in and the door.
"Hey mom! I'm home."
I walked in the kitchen.
Casey was sitting in the island eating cereal.
"Oh hi Ash." she said, looking up from her phone. my jaw dropped.
"Oh my god she's not swearing at you!"
Ash laughed his girly little laugh.
"She called me a bitch when I met her." he whispered in my ear.
"But she realized how awesome I was."
I laughed. "show off."
He grinned at me.
"Oh my gosh stop flirting." Casey said.
I held up my middle finger. "shut up."
"OHMYFUCKINGGOSHFUCKINGKILLMEICANTFUCKINGTAKETHIS!" I turned around to see Aggie in the door way.
"Hello to you too." Ashton said.
She ran into his arms as she shook.
"Oh my god." she repeatedly whimpered.
Ash put his hand on the back of her head. "there there." he said patting her back. when they finally broke she spit out.
"Oh my gosh I'm such a baby. I'm so stupid." she looked in Ashton's eyes in a worried expression.
"No no your good."
"Really?!"
"Mmmhhh."
She gave him anther hug, dried her eyes and said. "ok. for now on I'm gonna treat you like a real human being."
"Ok." Ashton patted her back trying to take away her shakes, but failed. it was making it kinda worse.
"Do you want to see my room?" I said.
"Sure." He said.
"What a minute." Mom said as she entered the kitchen.
"I want to see my daughter."
"Hi. I gotta go." I pointed toweds the stair case.
Mom rolled her eyes.

When we got to my room it totally surprised Ashton.
"Woah." he said taking a step back
He looked at my posters.
SHIT! WHAT WAS I THINKING! Now it's clear that I'm in love with him. I have fucking posters saying "I love Ashton" I'm insane.
My whole face pretty much turned purple.
"Ohhhh...." Aggie said Giving me wide eyes.
"Umm maybe we should go back downstairs..." I said trying to hide my blush by awkwardly itching my nose and cheeks.
"No... this is amazing!" He said, his eyes lighting up like fireworks.
"Umm really...?"
"You are the most interesting girl I have ever met."
"Is that a bad thing...?"
"Please!" He rolled his eyes. "Look at that poster board with the boys! You are so creative. wow."
My blush was coming back. "thank you."
I awkwardly ran my fingers through my hair and gave Aggie a "help me" look.
"Hey." Aggie said. "I have to go. I'll leave you guys."
I looked at her and spoke with my eyes.
"I thought you were gonna save me from this awkward moment."
She smiled and said, "but first can I have you number Ash?"
He pulled out his phone and handed it to her like he did it every day.
She moved her fingers around and waved. "bye." She ran down the stairs and left us.
I walked over to my bed and sat down.
Ashton sat next to me.
"So it's just your parents, Casey and you." he said looking at the wall.
I nodded. "I've pretty much been alone my whole life. Beside's Aggie. We're friends because we share brains."
His eyes widened.
"Haha! No like we are so much alike it's like we have the same brain. So we no how to put up to each other's shit."
He nodded.
We just kinda sat there in silence. I was swearing at myself in my head for being so fucking awkward.
FINALLY, Ash said, "hey just know if you ever need anything, I'm right here. if you need to talk to someone or just hang out, I would be more than welcome to just be with you."
I looked up at him and smiled.
"Thank you."
I had just realized that Ashton was a whole head taller than me. he was like The Big Friendly Giant (BFG)
"No problem."
Then all of sudden I felt sad. like I was just a little ant in the big world but there it came.
The Hope.
Ashton Irwin was sitting next me offering to be my friend. I had a chance with Ash.
He was 20 and I was 17. How could that happen.
But everything was possible.
All I had to focus on was being friends with Ashton.
