How Do You Know?

My phone went off.

I was asleep in my king sized bed at home

"Oh my gosh." I stretch and grabbed my phone from under my pillow.
It was Ash.

"What?" I asked making it clear that I was asleep.

"Halu"

"It's 10:00. it's to early to call." I said curling up under my blanket.

"And it's to late to sleep. guess what today is?" He asked, excited.

"A day."

"It's your 18th birthday!"

"Oh shit! oh wow I forgot. how do you know anyway?" I sat up.

"I seem to know a lot of things. now get outa bed and we're going somewhere."

"Ok."

"I'll pick you up in an hour." He hung up and I hopped out of bed.

It had been a month since I met Ash. I spent everyday with him. mom got over Ash, but I could tell she still didn't trust him.

I changed to shorts, a cut up/tied Zedd tank top, and sandals.

It was September but it was burning hot outside.

Ashton picked me up in his roofless car.

"Hey!" I gave him a quick hug.

"Ok. so I hope you can spend the whole day with me because I have plans." he said, grinning.

"I never really do anything for my birthday so we're good."

"Good!"

He hit the gas and we drove away.
About 15 minutes in the drive I all ready knew where we were going.

"We're going to Chicago aren't we?" I ask.

"Yas. I have only been there a couple times and it was just for a few days and I was too busy to go sight seeing."

"I thought it was MY birthday. not yours." I grinned and pulled a blonde curl, making in bounce.

"Well who doesn't like Chicago? In fact it was were we met." He looked me.

"Actually we met in the hospital."

"Well... we first saw each other in Chicago."

"Did you even see me when you were on stage? Well besides when you fell on me. Before that." i asked

"I try to notice every single fan while we perform. so actually yas I did notice you. and you saw me so... Chicago is are city." He gave me an all teeth grin.

"Your cute." I said, taking his hand.

"Well I try to make an impression on my totally addooorrrrrrable cuteness." he scrunched up his nose.

"Show off."

"Hey hey that's not showing off! I'm just proud of my intelligence."

"What ever you say."

"Coffe, tea, lemonade? What do you want?"

We're we at a coffee shop in downtown. Ashton had it in his head that we were gonna eat at every restaurant and drink Coffee at every coffee shop.

"It's freaking hot out here. Lemonade please."

Once we got are drinks we went walking through a park.

Ashton took a drink from his coffee and stopped, sitting on a bench.

"I have something for you." he slung his camouflage backpack off his back and pulled out a little gift bag.
"I hope you like it."

"I wasn't expecting anything so thank you."

I pulled out the tissue paper and a little box was in the bottom. I opened it.

"Oh my god Ash!"

It was a necklace with a little silver dove hanging on it.

"Oh my god how did you know?"

"Know what?" He asked.

"That I fly..." I said embarrassed.

"Aggie and I talked about it. she knows you better than anybody else. May I?"

I nodded.

He clipped the chain behind my neck.

"There you go." he said looking in my eyes."

"Thank you." I barely whispered.

He stood up holding his hand out. "come on. lets go see a gigantic Bean."

It was sundown once we got to the Bean. the sun was glittering in the reflection.

"Wowwwwww." Ashton said looking at his reflection.

"Please don't tell me you haven't seen the Bean!" I said laughing.

"Nope."

"Wow you have been busy."

"Who said being a celebrity was easy." he grinned taking my hand. we walked underneath the Bean.

He stopped, taking both of my hands.

The sun was shining right on us, making me squint.

He looked into my eyes.

"You look so beautiful right now." he said seriously.

I looked at the ground and laughed.

"No I'm serious." he said.

"No no it's just the sun. It's shining in my eyes..."

He shifted to block the sunlight.

"Thanks." I whispered.

He brushed back a strand of hair that was hanging in my face.

I laughed.

"I just want to spend every moment of my life with you. Ananya, I love you."

I took a step back, shocked.

"Ashton..."

"No. I know you love me too. you have to. I have never felt this way about anyone before, until... you arrived."

"Ashton." I shook my head confused.

"Ash... it can't work. I...I'm just... me and your Ashton Irwin from 5sos. so many people love you... and I'm not special." I felt a tear slip out on my eye.

"Ananya your the whole world to me and know matter how many people there are the world waiting for me to come around and I love you. you can't deny it because I know you love me too."

"Don't you get it? Someday your gonna go on tour again and I'm just gonna be left here behind. you have a whole life that you worked so hard for and its not my place to crush it. we both have..."

He cut me off.

"My life isn't complete with out you."

He placed his hand on my cheek, wiping a tear away with his thumb.

All my emotions about Ashton came flooding to my head. it was overflowing. My fingers tingled. I couldn't hold myself back. it was to much to bare.
I stood on my toes, leaning forward, kissing him.

My arms around his neck.
His hands in my hips.
It was perfect.
Too perfect.
