It was a October 1st.
I month till Halloween.

Ashton and I were taking a walk around my neighborhood

We walked as slow as possible because we both didn't want the walk to end.

Other than the cold it was perfect.

I shivered.

"Are you cold?" He asked, unwinding his hand from mine, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"Not really." I shivered again.

"I'm not believing you. But I'll keep you warm anyway."

We walked in silence for a while.

"You know I've been thinking..." Ashton paused.

"About what..."

"Well I mean, I've been thinking about if you would like this or not..." He paused again.

I motioned him to go on.

"Well there is this party, I mean... Ball. And I was wondering if you wanted to go..."

"What kind of ball?" I asked smiling up at him.

"A Halloween ball. each couple comes dressed to a theme. so I was thinking that if you wanted to go..."

I cut him off.

"If corse I want to go silly!"

"Well for themes I want us to go in a goth theme. good idea or nah?" He said.

"If course. even if we went as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I would go with you." I kissed him.

"I'm crazy in love with you." He said when he pulled away.

"I'm crazier."

"What if I was." he joked.

"I don't understand how that is possible."

"Anything is possible."

I walked in my house and tossed my coat on the couch.

"Maria! Aggie!" I called.
"Meet me in my room."

Aggie didn't live with us yet but she always seemed to be here.
She still lived with here family and she was finishing up her Senior year of High School.

2 minutes later, Maria, Aggie and I were sitting around my bed.

"Ok what?" Maria asked.

"Ashton asked me to go to a Halloween ball with him." I said.

"Oh my god! That is amazing! I get to pick the dress!" Aggie said.

"That's the thing." I started.
"Each couple has to dress up to a theme. Ash and I are going... wait for it... GOTH!"

Aggie stood up so fast she threw the pillow she was holding.

"Oh my fucking gosh! I know EXACTLY what to wear! Oh my gosh! This is amazing!"

I looked at her like she was a zombie.

"Um this is Ananya's ball..." Maria said.

"I know! That's what friends are for!" She pulled out her phone, did some typing, and held it up to my face.

"Isn't that a little... too fancy..." I said unsure.

"Oh my god it's perfect!" Maria said.

The dress had a black leather top and a black/purple huge poofy skirt.

"It's from Beautiful Creatures! Remember?" Aggie said so excited she was was standing in her toes.

"I guess..." I said.

"Well I mean it's your choice. if you want to wear it then you can." Aggie said.

Maria just looked at us confused.

"You know what. your my friends. you guys can choose. if you really want me to wear it then of course I will." I said.

"Thank you!" Aggie leaned over and gave me hug.

I stood up. "you know I bet Luke is going to ask you to go with him to the ball."

"Shut up." She threw a pillow at me.

"Are you guys even going out? You never really talk about it." I laughed.

"Fuck you!"

I ran from a pillow sailing through the air towards me.

Aggie hated it when I talked about her and Luke. It was like they were going out but didn't even realize it.
