Fluff

*

The man who had been eyeing me in a not-so-subtle manner began crossing the road. He now stood uncomfortably close to me, and he gave me a sly leer.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing all alone here at night? No one to take you home?" He reeked of alcohol, balancing most of his weight on one foot.

Before I could leave or retort, strong arms were snaking around my waist, and another voice spoke instead, "Actually, she's not alone. Her boyfriend is here."

Noticing Namjoon's tall and well-built figure, the man swallowed and took a step back. Namjoon threw him a look of disgust as the two of us walked away from the gates and towards the bus stop.

"I can take care of myself, you know. I had it under control," I looked up at Namjoon in annoyance as he smiled at me. That perfect smile, which made me feel the same way it had six months ago when I first saw it, like the luckiest girl in the world.

"I know, angel." I softened at the endearment as I turned to face the road. "I just couldn't help it." He scowled a bit, thinking back to the stranger.

"Always trying to save me," I shook my head slightly and chuckled, my previous annoyance vanishing.

As we walked, Namjoon's arm had left my waist, and his fingers fiddled with the strap of his backpack. I struggled to match his long strides, almost jogging to keep up.

"Joon, can you slow down."

"Ah, sorry." Namjoon's steps grew shorter as he slowed to a moderate pace.

"What's up? Why are you in such a hurry?" I glanced at him curiously.

"I've been waiting to get home all day," he emphasised the last two words, and I raised my eyebrows at him, urging him to continue. "I bought this cake yesterday, and there's one slice left. I cannot wait to go eat it," His eyes gleamed with pure excitement.

I would say that was unexpected, but over the past few months, I had learned that Namjoon's love for food knew no end. We rarely had arguments, but when we did, most of them tended to involve food—don't ask me how.

I shook my head, causing Namjoon to mutter you just don't get it.

"We better get there quick then," I couldn't help the laughter that escaped through my lips.

A pleasant silence took over as we both got lost in our thoughts. My shoulder occasionally bumped into Namjoon's, and his hand unconsciously met mine, holding it and interlacing our fingers together. We walked hand in hand and eventually made it to the bus stop just before the bus could leave us behind.

The bus ride to Namjoon's place was a short one. And within the next fifteen minutes, we had ditched our backpacks on the sofa, and we stood in the tiny kitchen. I sat on the counter, my legs dangling in the air as Namjoon rummaged through the fridge in search of the dessert he had eagerly awaited.

He finally found it, bringing the small container out and placing the slice of chocolate cake on a plate. My eyes followed Namjoon around the kitchen as he buzzed around in search of a fork, his giant stature contrasting his childlike excitement.

Namjoon returned to the counter with a single fork, and I immediately knew he didn't want to share. I watched my boyfriend ignore me for a slice of cake, looking at it with wonder in his eyes. I couldn't help but feel the happiness that was radiating off of him.

"Finally!" He relished the first bite, closing his eyes and letting out a satisfied "mmm."

I simply sat there grinning from ear to ear, watching the boy I had grown to love. "Can I have some?"

Namjoon turned to me with an offended look on his face, eyebrows furrowed. "Absolutely not, no way."

"Please?"

"Nope."

"Just one bite," I stuck my lower lip out at him, "I wanna try it."

"Koko," Namjoon groaned, "Here, you can have this instead."

He moved away from his plate and put both his hands on my knees, moving them apart to stand in between my legs. Namjoon pressed his soft lips to mine, capturing them in a quick kiss. I smiled against his lips, kissing him back.

One kiss turned into two before the cake was forgotten about as we both got lost in each other, my senses tuning out everything but the boy in front of me. His palms slid up from my knees to my thighs, gripping the flesh tightly.

My fingers found themselves tangled in his dark hair, tugging softly, causing him to let out a small groan. As Namjoon's tongue explored my mouth, his hands slipped under my shirt, and I hissed as his cold fingers met the warm skin of my stomach. His long fingers pulled me closer by my waist, and my legs squeezed his torso in an attempt to press my thighs together.

"Someone's getting needy," He smirked, raising a single eyebrow.

A moan escaped me before I could stop it, and it was immediately swallowed by Namjoon's lips attacking mine again. I tightened my hold on the back of his shirt, and my pulse raced as Namjoon's hands roamed my body and his lips trailed down my neck, pressing kisses along it. His tongue ran in small circles over the soft skin, causing a few whimpers to fall past my lips.

Namjoon knew my body like the map of his hometown, familiar with every haunt and hidden nook. His lips visiting the secret places he had discovered and fingers running down my favourite spots.

The seconds blended into minutes as I lost track of time. Namjoon was the first one to pull away, leaving me dazed with absolutely no thoughts left in my head. He grinned at me before casually picking up the plate to bring it in front of him and continue eating.

"I could taste that cake on your lips," my voice was slightly hoarse, "I need more," I whined, grabbing his shoulders and shaking them a little.

Namjoon sighed, "Koko, you said you just wanted to try it, and now you have. So, it's still a no." He shook his head.

In the end, it was the puppy-dog-eyes that got to him. Namjoon finally gave in and fed me a small bite of his precious chocolate cake.
