*Krista’s point of View*
Despite being here in these circumstances, this is a pretty great Christmas. I sat on my bed, twisting the charm bracelet Neville sent me. A notebook and pen from Justin rested on the nearby nightstand. The elegant image of a hippogriff prancing near Black Lake seemed so real as though I was watching it from a window. I reached for it delicately, not wanting to ruin the cover and grabbed the pen. Flipping to the back page, I carefully tore out a sheet, folding it in half and dampening the edge before pulling it into two pieces. Taking both halves, I climbed out of bed and over to the desk. I clicked the pen and started writing.
Hey, Justin. Thanks for the notebook and pen. You really shouldn’t have. I was going to need a new one. All of my writing took up my other ones completely. XD Merry Christmas!    -Krista
I reviewed the yellow ink I spread on the parchment. I would’ve never believed people used yellow inked pens in this world. I folded the letter and handed it to the family owl, Aero. He got his name from his speed. He takes off and flies at the speed of an arrow shooting from a bow. The reedy barn owl grasped the letter and darted out the window swiftly, leaving me to write the second letter. I clicked the pen open again, pressing it to the parchment.
  Merry Christmas, Nev-
What? The ink had changed from yellow to a light pink. I held the pen in front of my face trying to figure out what was different. It still looked the same, but the color of the ink changed. I shrugged it off and kept writing. The pink ink progressively darkening to a deep red.
ille. Thank you so much for the bracelet. It’s really beautiful. I wish you were here though. I’ve really been missing you. Maybe after break is over, we can have our own little belated Christmas party since we can’t see each other today. It’d be-
  “Krista!” Mom called from downstairs.
I slapped my hands over the letter, “Yes?!”
“Can you come down here please?”
I groaned, “All right. I’m coming!”
I grabbed the letter, jumping up from the desk and running to shove it in my book bag before leaving the room. It is essential nobody sees it. I ran downstairs and burst into the kitchen.
  “Yes, mom?”
She and dad smiled, “We have another gift for you. Go check the living room.”
  “Okay?”
I went through an adjacent door, wondering what they were talking about. I have an important thing to do. Presents can wait. I stepped through the doorway to the living room; an excited smile fixed on my face.
He chuckled at me with his signature sideways grin, “Merry Christmas.”
I laughed, “Merry Christmas, Neville. What are you doing here?”
He stepped towards me, “My grandmother went to be with friends. She told me I could do the same.”
Neville gave me a warm hug, kissing my cheek. I swear his grandmother read my mind all the way from across town.
I giggled quietly in his ear, “I was actually just about to send you a letter.”
  “Really? What kind of letter?”
I just smiled, “Oh, you know. Merry Christmas, thank you for my gift, I wish you were here...”
“There seems to be a missing piece to that last part,” He grinned.
I glanced around to make sure nobody is listening, “...Here for our own little celebration.”
He looked around too, “Do we have time? Will we be caught?”
“We have time, but parents and Weasley twins are your main obstacles.”
Neville laughed, “They’re no threat. Come on.”
He grabbed my hand and we headed back the way I came in. Bursting into the kitchen where Molly, Arthur, Mom, Dad, and Sirius were talking.
“I see you found your gift,” mom grinned.
“Yes, she did,” Neville responded, smiling. A low whisper under his breath that I could barely hear, “And that’s not all she’s getting.”
“We’re going to head upstairs with the others,” I lied.
My heart pounded in my chest as I thought for sure they would see through my bluff, but they all just smiled, “Have fun.”
Neville jumped at the chance to leave, having to drag me since I felt paralyzed by the looks my parents gave us. We ran upstairs, desire burning through both of us. Nobody’s around, so we took the opportunity to slip into the bedroom Kenzie and I share. Neville and I clawing at each other’s clothing, making out heavily. I moaned quietly as Neville bit my shoulder lightly, my gaze shifting to the bathroom door. An idea popped into my head.
“Neville, would you care to try something new?”
I felt him grin, not stopping his kisses, “Anything you want.”
I pulled away from him and grabbed his hand, “Let’s go then.”
I led him out of the room and down the hallway to the bathroom, pulling him inside, shutting and locking the door behind us. I know this is risky, but I know it will be worth it. I yanked the curtain open and switched on the shower.
I turned to Neville grinning, “Get in.”
*Kenzie’s Point of View*
I stepped back inside number twelve Grimmauld Place. My cheeks cold and rosy, my fingers numb but my smile warm as summer. My entire body covered with snow. I walked down the hall to see the adults having a little meeting.
“Welcome back, sweetheart,” dad grinned, “Have fun?”
  I grinned back, “Tons.”
“Great, now why don’t you go up with the others and get warm. Supper will be ready soon.”
  “Okay, dad.”
I turned the corner and headed upstairs to the bedrooms. The first thing I see is Fred and George standing outside the bathroom.
“What are you two doing?” I asked confusedly.
Fred held a finger to his lips, “Shh. Just wait and see.”
The three of us waited patiently. I could hear the faint sound of the shower running.
“What did you guys do? Dye someone’s hair?” I asked.
They grinned and laughed, “No. Just wait.”
We waited for another ten minutes. My boredom dragging more than curiosity. I watched them perk up as the lock to door clicked and it opened. Krista stepping out fully dressed with wet hair.
She looked creeped out, “Why are you guys standing outside the bathroom?”
I pointed at Fred and George, “These two made me. I’m not sure why.”
George smirked, “Well, there’s one, Freddy.”
“Now, we’re waiting for the second.”
I looked at them funny, “Second?”
Both of them grinned impishly, “Her lover’s here.”
I looked at Krista, “Is he really?”
She just smiled, not saying anything. I know that means yes. I shook my head.
Krista crossed her arms grinning, “Enough about me. Where have YOU been?”
“Did dad not tell you? I went outside.”
She raised an eyebrow at me, “Yeah, but for what reason?”
I scratched my head, “To... Go outside?”
  “Mhm, sure.”
I squared my shoulders, “What else could I do? It’s Christmas and we’re pretty much on lockdown.”
She kept smirking, “I could name something.”
I glanced nervously at Fred and George who had turned their focus to me, “And what would that be?”
“A certain, blonde Slytherin,” she smiled. Her light green eyes dancing.
I dropped my arms to my sides in disbelief, “How on Earth could I see him?”
Krista ticked off items on her fingers, “Let’s see, you’re both stubborn, you know how to walk to places, not to mention you’re hopelessly head over heels. Need I say more?”
“But his parents would never let him and I don’t know where he lives. I don’t know how you could possibly think...” I looked up to see Krista holding a letter, “...How did you get that?”
“Found it,” she said in a sing-song voice.
“.....I left it on my bed, didn’t I?”
  She laughed, “Yes.”
I was just about to get on her for reading my letters when Neville came out of the bathroom dressed with wet hair too.
“Well, at least I’m not the only one hiding something under our parents’ noses.”
  Neville grinned, “And my grandmother.”
I cocked an eyebrow, “Uh huh. Point made.”
Krista took Neville’s hand in her own, “Who cares? Now, if you’ll excuse us, we are going to enjoy the rest of our day.”
I watched them go, turning to the twins and shaking my head, “I still don’t get them.”
