*Krista’s Point of View*
I’m really disappointed about what happened between Neville and I. Not long after our little share of awkward, I told the twins I was going to head back to my common room to think things over. Returning to the zombie mode I was in not too long ago, I forced myself upstairs and into the Hufflepuff common room. Sinking into a nearby chair, I sighed with severe disheartenment. I wish there was a few more minutes for us. I’m eager to know what Neville wants to ask me. I replayed the whole scene in my head over and over again. I thought about my surprise when I discovered he had approached me, and for the first time too. I already felt on the brink of a panic attack to have him talk to me, but that anxiety skyrocketed when Kenzie and the twins left me alone with him. I know Neville is harmless, but my emotions overtook me. Holding me captive and draining the little strength I had to act at least somewhat normal. Wait a second… I could hear the click inside my head. Kenzie and or Fred and George had something to do with this, I’m positive of it. I remember Kenzie promising with determination that she was going to help me. She must’ve told him that I like him! I launched myself out of the chair, bursting through the common room entrance and took off sprinting to the library. My lungs were on the brink of bursting from lack of air and my legs began to feel as though they were being set of fire as I kept running through mazes of corridors and what seemed like hills of stairs, desperate to reach the library. As I came closer, I was brought to a complete stop as Kenzie exited the library.
“Kenzie!” I gasped, sucking as much air as I could inhale at once.
She looked at me with great concern, “Krista, what’s the matter?”
I took a few moments to catch my breath, “Did… Did you…?”
  “Did I what?”
I sucked in another breath, “Did you tell Neville I like him?”
A look of guilt washed over her expression and she shook her head, “I never had come around to it. I know I promised I’d help you but-“
I held a hand up to stop her, “You didn’t say anything?”
  She shook her head again.
I sighed, “Damn it. I was hoping I could figure out why…”
  “Why what?” Kenzie asked.
I looked at her, “Why Neville suddenly decided to talk to me this morning.”
Kenzie brought her hand to her chin in thought.
I just waved my hand, “Doesn’t matter. I’ll figure it out later.”
I turned and left Kenzie standing in the same place, still pondering about what I said. I slouched my shoulders, staring at the ground the entire way back to the common room. I wilted into the same chair and closed my eyes, sighing. I don’t understand why this is so hard…
*Kenzie’s Point of View*
I was just leaving the library, hoping I would be able to find and sneak off with Draco somewhere when I looked up to see Krista running towards me at full speed.
“Kenzie!” she gasped, breathing with difficulty.
I became worried, “Krista, what’s the matter?”
She took a few moments to catch her breath to speak, “Did… Did you…?”
  “Did I what?”
She inhaled sharply, “Did you tell Neville I like him?”
I started to feel a bit bad since I never even tried yet and I shook my head, “I never had come around to it. I know I promised I’d help you but-“
She held a hand up, making me pause, “You didn’t say anything?”
  I shook my head again.
She sighed, “Damn it. I was hoping I could figure out why…”
  “Why what?” I asked.
She looked at me, “Why Neville suddenly decided to talk to me this morning.”
I brought my hand to my chin as I started to think about it.
She just waved her hand, almost if she was just giving up, “Doesn’t matter. I’ll figure it out later.”
I was still thinking hard about the situation as Krista walked away, looking really disappointed. I reflected back to this morning, hoping for some kind of clue. Out of nowhere, the memory slapped me across the face, leaving me shocked:
  “Hey, Kenzie?”
  I looked at him, “Yes?”
He gulped, “I was curious about something. Do you think you can help me out?”
  “Sure.”
Neville seemed to be a bit frightened, “Um… Does... Does your...” He cleared his throat, “Does Krista have a crush on Fred or George?”
“No. They’re more like brothers to us. Why do you ask?” my curiosity questioned.
He just shook his head, “No reason. Just wondering…”
I lost complete interest in what I was planning to do and I geared myself to the Gryffindor common room. Those last words flashing in my head like a sign:
  “No reason. Just wondering...”

I gradually quickened my pace, breaking into a sprint as I approached the portrait of the Fat Lady.
  “Fortuna Major.”
The door swung open and I climbed inside. My brain began working twice as fast when I stepped into the room, Neville being the first thing I see.
  “Neville!”
He looked up at me and his face brightened with hope, “Kenzie! I was hoping to find you.”
I was taken aback, “Find me?”
He nodded, “I need your help. Well, if you’ll help me.”
I went up and sat down next to him, “With what?”
He gulped, “Promise you won’t kill me?”
“Why would I do that?” I asked, a bit baffled by his question.
Clearing his throat, he continued, “I… I really like your sister. I need your help getting her to like me.”
Honestly, I wanted to just burst into laughter. I’d probably feel bad about it later, but what are the chances? They like each other, but both of their shyness is repelling them like two magnets of the same charge.
I stifled my giggles, “Sure, I’ll help you. I will tell you three things that will serve you well.”
He nodded eagerly, presenting me with his full attention.
“First off,” I started, “Ask her to hang out with you. Perhaps down by the lake. Make sure you are cool and confident. Being too antisocially shy may make you mess up time and time again. Second, offer her some of her favorite kind of candy. She likes many kinds, but I would suggest sour patch watermelons, twizzlers or chocolate of any kind.”
He nodded, but looked a bit puzzled, “What are the first two items?”
“Muggle candy,” I explained, “She loves it. Don’t worry, I can get you some.”
He nodded again, returning to hear what else I had to say.
“Third, don’t be afraid to talk about some of the strangest things. She and I have strange senses of humor and she loves it when a guy can just hop in on it without question. Usually are references to movies, songs, books or games. Sometimes it’s just weird things that come up.”
He twisted his face in utter confusion. I know he won’t get it until he sees first hand where I’m coming from. After a few minutes of processing the hints I had given him he smiled.
  “Thanks, Kenzie.”
“No problem,” I grinned. “Oh, and about killing you? You’re safe… for now.”
His eyes widened and his jaw dropped a bit.
I laughed, “I’m kidding. Only if you hurt her. If it reaches that point, then I’ll get the twins on it too.”
He still stared at me with fear glistening in his eyes.
I laughed again and stood up, “Hey, you already knew what you were in for. I know you’re a good guy Neville, but I’m still going to be protective of my sister.”
  “Yeah, I know.”
I nodded, giving him my affirmation before I turned around and left the common room. I smiled at my achievement. It won’t be long now…
