*Krista’s Point of View*
I’m in such a great mood today. After last night, I came back to the common room overjoyed. I tried finishing my homework before I went to bed, not wanting to get a detention from Professor Snape, but it was still hard to focus, but in a whole new way. Today was already half over and nothing is able to kill the happiness welling up inside me. Not even the sassy remarks of Professor Umbridge was able to kill it today. I chuckled to myself, maybe because Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs had Defense Against the Dark Arts together. Neville and I kept writing sweet notes and passing them to each other the entire class. I haven’t told Kenzie about what had happened yet, but by the looks of it, she knows it went well.
I walked down to the great hall with my notebook and a pencil in hand. Supper was going to be served soon and I wanted to find Kenzie before everyone else showed up. I walked in, greeted by chatter from about a quarter of the school’s population. I took a deep breath, still feeling as though I was on top of the world as I started walking over to my sister and the twins who were sitting near the furthest end of the Gryffindor table.
“Hey, Krista,” Kenzie greeted as I approached.
  “Hey, guys,” I smiled.
I sat next to Kenzie, opening my notebook and I started to write. The three of them watched me.
“Uh, oh. Krista brought out the…” Kenzie started, then made her voice really high-pitched, “feelings!”
I rolled my eyes, “So what? And I’m writing more than that.”
  “Ooohh, riiiight,” Fred grinned.
“Of course!” George added on, “How could we forget the little hearts with ‘Krista + Neville’ inside of them?”
The three of them broke into hysterical laughter, leaving me to cross my arms and pout.
“Aww, I guess Krista isn’t really feeling it.” Fred laughed.
I turned to glare at Kenzie who continued to wipe away tears of laughter, “You did not get them in on that.”
She gasped for breath and laughed even harder, “Yes. Yes, I did.”
“Why would you do this to me, Kenzie?”
She just continued to laugh, “Decided to bring back memories, Krista.”
“But it’s not even the good ones!” I complained.
Kenzie forced out her last few chuckles, “I love you, sis.”
She always says she loves me when she cracks one of our inside jokes that I can’t stand. Before coming to Hogwarts, we had a group of friends who would always say or do the craziest things you could imagine. It just happens that the “really feeling it” came from one of their favorite video games. I hate that joke to no end and Kenzie knows it.
“Anyways, I’m going to go find Hermione and the guys,” Kenzie said as she stood up, “See you later.”
We watched her walk off and out of the great hall.
I turned to the twins, “When did she tell you about that?”
They looked at each other, George answered, “About a year ago.”
I couldn’t believe it, “That long ago?”
They nodded. I shook my head in annoyance. I thought that joke died forever and I was wrong.
I closed my notebook and stood up, “I’m going t go find Neville.”
“Password is Fortuna Major if you want to look in the common room.”
I turned back to them, “Thanks.”
I left the great hall and headed upstairs. Today was long, but I can’t wait to meet with Neville. I entered Gryffindor Tower and into the common room, finding Neville sitting in front of the fireplace, reading another herbology book.
  “Hey, cuteness,” I smiled.
Neville looked up from his book, surprised to see me, “Krista? How did you get in here?”
“Fred and George told me the password.”
He chuckled, “That doesn’t surprise me.”
I walked over to the couch, sitting beside him and snuggling to his side. Neville set his book down and wrapped his arm around me, kissing me lightly.
  “So, what’s go-“
I shushed him. Just enjoying being next to him by the crackling fire. Neville held me tightly and I sighed into his shoulder. This is what I wanted all day…
*Kenzie’s Point of View*
I started thinking about the possible places the trio could be. They seem to be everywhere now and I can never keep track of them. My luck changed when I found them heading to Dumbledore’s office.
“Harry! Ron! Hermione!” I called after them.
  “Hey, Kenz,” Hermione smiled.
Where are you guys headed?” I asked.
Harry hugged me, “We’re going to see Dumbledore. Do you remember what happened over summer?”
I thought about it for a moment, “Oh, yeah! Yeah, I remember. What about it?”
“We think we should start our own class,” Ron explained, “Umbridge isn’t teaching us a thing and we need to protect ourselves.”
“Harry is going to teach,” Hermione added.
I liked the idea. Going against Umbridge will be the best thing ever.
“That sounds great, but what about all the school rules?”
Ron scoffed, “Forget those bloody rules. You-know-who is back and we need to teach the others skills that the Ministry doesn’t want us to learn.”
A devious grin spread across my face, “You can count me in.”
They all returned my smile. This was going to be the best plan ever.
After the talk with Dumbledore, the four of us just started wandering about the castle, trying to think of places that we could hold the meetings and practices.
  “Unused classroom?” Ron suggested.
Harry shook his head, “Too obvious. We need a place much more secretive.”
“Shrieking shack? Nobody goes there.” I asked.
Harry shook his head again, “No, too small. Until we find a place, we can’t practice.”
  “Hey, Potter!”
We looked toward the end of the hall to locate who called Harry out. Oh, no…
“What do you want, Malfoy?” Harry growled.
“Heard you were getting into trouble,” he sneered. “It’s all over school.”
  Ron snapped, “Shove off, Malfoy!”
“Get out of here,” Hermione added.
“Shut up, Mudblood!” Goyle commanded, using his size to intimidate her.
Draco held out his arm to stop him, “Calm down, Goyle. They’re not worth our time.”
“And you’re not worth ours, you inconsiderate pricks,” I hissed, getting in Draco’s face.
His eyes momentarily softened, allowing me to see how apologetic he was. I know we have to be harsh to each other when we’re with others, but I regret getting in his face. He looked into my eyes longingly and I just wanted to jump into his arms, planting his face with kisses, but I knew I couldn’t. Not now. Realizing how silent we were, he quickly forced a cold glare.
  “Malfoy, say something!” Crabbe nudged.
He scoffed, “Let’s not bother. They’re nothing but filthy mudbloods and blood traitors. Let’s go.”
We watched the three storm off where they had come from. My nerves twitched as a burning desire to run after him pulsed within me.
“That Malfoy is such a prat,” Ron scoffed, “Thinks he’s above everyone else.”
I continued to stand in the same place, listening to the three of them trash Draco and I became angry. They don’t know the real him and they never will because they’re blinded by hatred.
“He’s just plain heartless,” Hermione accused, shaking her head, “He’d never give a damn about anyone else.”
“That’s a lie!” I roared, still not moving from my spot.
I could feel their eyes burning into my back. Just waiting for me to continue.
“How is that a lie?” Ron asked. “He’s an inconsiderate and selfish jerk.”
I didn’t answer him. I just stood where I was and stared at the ground. My blood was boiling and my hands tightened to clenched fists.
I took a deep breath, turning to face them, “Your eyes work, yet you are blind.”
They stared at me silently, glancing between each other then back to me. I didn’t say anything more. I looked at each of them then ran off in the direction Draco had gone.
“I’ll show them,” I growled under my breath, chasing after them. “I’ll show them the real Draco Malfoy…”
