Arsenal Academy Graduate

The First Day...

Today is the start of the next chapter in my career, today is the day where i sign my first professional contract with Arsenal. I'm very nervous but i can't wait to meet the whole team and start training and playing games with them all. Especially this one girl on the team...

It's currently 7:30am and i need to leave the house by 8:00am but luckily i've changed so i just need to have breakfast, brush my teeth and then leave. For breakfast this morning i've got some oatmeal with strawberries, honey and a bit of nutella on the side with a cold glass of orange juice for a drink. It's now 7:45 and i need to quickly go and brush my teeth before heading out to the training ground. After finishing that all up, i then proceed to collect my bag and all the stuff that i need for today then head into my car. 

The drive to the training ground is only 30 minutes away from my house so it's not too bad. I'm feeling good and ready for what today has to offer. As i pulled up to the training ground, all i see is majority of the team heading inside, they're all my idols and i can't believe i'll be lucky enough to call them my teammates as of today. 

I head into the main building where i'll be signing the contract and then meeting the team for the first time. I'm greeted with the social media team and the main photographers as i start the singing process. After signing the contract, taking the official photos for social media and singing a few Arsenal shirts with my name on the back, it's time to meet the team for the first time. 

I knock on the changing room door and the one and only Kim Little is there to greet me. She introduced me to the whole team and i said my "hello's" to everyone. Everyone greeted me nicely but only one person's hello stuck with me... Anna Patten's.

I quickly got changed into the new training kit and then made my way to the training pitch. I was alongside Lotte, Anna's bestfriend. Once training started i immediately turned into serious mode. I want to be a big part of this team's success and i want to prove that i can go up against the likes of Kim and Jordan in midfield. 

Training went really well. We had a game at the end and i scored 2 and had 2 assists so i was feeling pretty confident that Jonas Eidevall , our manager, was going to start me on the weekend against Tottenham. I just have to keep pushing in training and i can be up as a contender to be a regular on the team. 

Everything was going well today until i overheard a conversation between Lotte and someone who i thought was a lovely teammate, until then. I recognised the voice of the other teammate of ours that she talking about me to and i couldn't believe my ears. This was my worst fear...
